Amazing seafood, recommended by the staff at the hotel, more of a local’s restaurant as it is it he basement of a residential area. Absolutely the best scallops I have ever had, without a doubt. Everything is fresh and cooked to your liking. The lobster pasta was amazing, perfectly tender and sweet spiny lobster with homemade pasta. They also have a very nice selection of Croatian wines.

Wonderful experience having lunch nearby sea. I would highly recommend this place. Beautiful ambiance and tasty food. Unfortunately there is no direct view to the sea from tables outside.

Our hotel emphatically told us that this is the best restaurant in Split. I was skeptical because that seems like a big claim. But…they were right! The seafood is fresh. How fresh? We saw the living lobsters and scallops and everything else
Before they were cooked. Our server guided us well. The smoked salmon pate was great and the red scorpion fish (presented fresh) was super tasty. I had never heard of this fish which has some poisonous defense mechanisms on its exterior. He also recommended a fig and ice cream dessert that we all loved. Bravo, Konoba Nikola!

Simply the best of everything... from the service to the fresh daily catch and the preparation. This is a must eat restaurant if you are in the area. I wish i was in town longer as i want to try more dishes. I look forward to returning

Definitely the best meal we had in split. Was here for a week. Tasty food with hearty portions. Had squid ink risotto which was fabulous, fish in 3 ways that showcased the variety the variety of cooking techniques - yum. Scampi soup was huge and a hit with the kids, walnut bread tasted great with soup

No. 1 restaurant so far. Fresh fish and other seafood. Shrimps cooked on steam, crazy. St. Jacob seashells was the best food that I eat in my life. Serving was also on the level and not pushy, almost unnoticeable but always close. Great variety of red wines, also good choice of liquors.
I would not say it's expensive considering the quality of the food. Excellent place to enjoy the genuine Dalmatian cuisine but on a higher level. I am very happy to discover this place ideal for impressing your business partners or your girlfriend /boyfriend on a romantic dinner.

If you like fish and seafood, this is the best choice. Everything is fresh and the dishes are very tasty.
Tip: check the payment note because sometimes mistakes are made 😉

I love this place ❤ Fresh seafood to die for!! Tuna tartare to start .. the best I have ever tasted. Followed by John Dory perfectly cooked. Hervé and the rest of the team are lovely I love eating here. The restaurant is small but has a comfortable and pleasant feel to it 🐟🐟

Elegant and delicious dinner! We started with the tuna carpaccio, an appetizer with one scallop, one clam, and one mussel, lobster pasta for the first main and monk fish wrapped in zucchini for the second. So much goodness!

Great value for money I think. That’s coming from an Australian though. It’s not a cheap eat kinda place and we were very lucky to get in without a booking. It is however exceptional quality seafood. The fish soup was clean and complex, the pate was smooth and so so tasty on some fresh toasty bread. Get the seafood pasta. Regardless of anything else you order, get the seafood pasta to share. Quite possible the best I’ve had in the world. Wine is only by the bottle which is a little frustrating when you don’t want to drink too much (for a change). Croatian beer goes super well with seafood anyway so a night off vino was all good. Enjoy #lastmealcity

Great fresh sea food. We ordered from the cart; all fresh cut fish; prawns, mussels and scallops. Everything was amazing. Highly recommended

Great food and amazing service/staff. When you are in Split, it’s sooo worth it to take the 20min and drive out to the restaurant. While it looks a bit sketchy from outside, it’s so cozy and authentic when you enter. Plus: the food is insane. Expect more than you think :)

We ordered fried squid (calamari), fried potato, tuna carpaccio, seafood pasta.

All were amazing tastes, i liked the sea food pasta the most but I do not have any complains about the rest.

Calamari here is also very speical, I'd try again with beer!

I wish i will come here any time soon and try other foods too(I have recommendation from my friend)

This has to be some of the best sea food that I have eaten. The tuna was out of this world, the pastor with lobster to die for. A must place to eat.

I always knew it’s gonna be a great adventure in Croatia but i’ve never expected such amazing cuisine. Such perfect sea food, great pasta&risotto, delicate tuna carpaccio was such woooooow👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 congrats for Chef & Service 🏆🏆🏆

Probably one of the best fish restaurant I have every visited. Light and fresh food, sweet but strong flavors. The waiter is really professional and very helpful. Really a great dinner..

This restaurant was highly recommended by one of my friends who lives in Split. All I can say is - go there, order the food&drinks and ENJOY! For me the best fish restaurant that I've ever been to (and I've seen quite a lot of them). We had a fish soup and octopus salad for starters. For the main dish we've selected 2 of the fish and shrips "na buzaro"; we were shown what is available for a day (fish, seashells, crabs). The food was delicious!

if you re ever in town, drop by his family restaurant. It is worth the detour, hidden gem in the small town of Stobrec, near Split.
Friendly staff, baby friendly and the fish, can’t get any fresher.
