Velebit House

Amazing interactive activities for the visitors, tour guide available for presentations on the wildlife and plant and animal species specific to the area. We took our students there for a school trip and they loved it.

Really interesting museum about local nature, flora, fauna litle bit of speleology and everything is interactive and really fun and educational. Its suited for kids and adults. Please check the wind/mind blower at the entrance... :)

Amazing everytime we visit. We love this place, Croatia is so special. Hope to be able to visit again next year for hiking during orchid season.

Worth a visit, especially with kids, on your way to the Velebit National park. Lots of interactive information, curious facts about the nature of this region. The staff at the reception was very helpful and introduced us with quite a few information. Thank you, keep up, you are doing great job there.

Amazing place to visit! Real modern multimedia museum, explaing to us life as it once was in the area, and kearning experience about nature, animals etc!

Unique and amazing space filed with new tech features that tell the story of wild life on Velebit. But the elevator on third floor is just 💯. Never seen anything alike. Happy to see our tourism is moving into new era of finally understanding need to present natural heritage and pass knowledge in cool way that will leave visitors with memorable experience wishing for more.

Very interesting, with guides. There is 4 floors in building with stories of animals, plants and enviromnent.

Small museum, but very adorable. A great amount of information, presented in a very nice way. A couple of items were not accessible due to COVID-19 limitations.

The souvenir shop, had very favorable prices.

An interactive place where you can learn a lot about the flora and fauna of the Northern Velebit National Park. I also enjoyed the detailed description of the caving system of the mountain. It was great in combination with the visit to the park and not too expensive.

Excellent displays, interactive, diverse The staff is helpful and friendly. Some texts displays have to spellchecked better, but all in all, an great place to visit.

Great info center. They have VR to explire the nature but also a bura simulator.

The guy that works there is really friendly and informative. Really improves your day when you interact with somebody who obviously enjoys doing their job.

if you want to know more about Velebit and aswell about bugs, wildlife and other interesting things... it is a must go. Nice and friendly staff
