Tomaz Winery

The experience is on the level. From the atmosphere, beautiful space and most importantly to the position with a view of the beautiful Motovun. The sommelier is very experienced and recommended their excellent wines. For food, you have cold meats and cheeses, which go well with wine. This is the place to visit if you are in the area.

We visited in December and had an amazing time at Tomaz Winery, they catered to us with extreme care. The tour around the production area was very interesting and the wine tasting superb. Everything was top notch! The staff is happy to answer any question and we really enjoyed talking to our waitress, exchanging knowledge about wine but also olive oil :)

One of the best places for high gastronomy...magnificent view and very nice atmosphere..wines are outstanding..Motovun center is just 5 min away...narure around the winery is breathtaking..and the winery itself is architect beauty..

A beautifully placed winery overseeing the terroir of Tomaz’ vines. A wonderfully attentive sommelier and staff at the place which is recently built (4 months). Wines are lovely and the associated storytelling complement perfectly

Wonderful experience at Tomas winery! The service was wonderful! We did the three wines tasting with the Tuscan meats and cheese plate— very tasty. Extremely impressed by their wines— tasted very unique, coming from the US. Ambience was wonderful even on a rainy day in late October!

One of the best winery experiences ever! We made a last minute decision to visit TOMAZ right outside of the town of Motovun. A very friendly woman, Nedeljka, greeted us. Although she was very busy, she offered an exceptional tasting and a delicious spread of local meats, cheeses and bread. We purchased a few bottles of wine that we enjoyed in the evenings after filled days of sightseeing. You can walk to the lovely hilltop town of Motovun from the winery. I do recommend making a reservation in advance. It was a very rainy day in late October, so we were very lucky that we could drop in. Thank you Nedeljka!

We had a fantastic tasting here. Very friendly people with probably the best Croatian wines. The Malvazija belongs to the 4% best white wines of the world and the sparkling rosé is very pleasant to drink. The Merlot is also very mild and easy to combine with all kinds of meat whereas the Muskat is fantastic full of fruits.

All of their wines are incredible, but my favourites are their classic rose and sparkling rose

Innovative young wine maker that makes some great wines at a great value. We drove there after we tasted their merlot in a Motavun restaurant.I bought several merlot and barbarossa bottles after wine tasting on-site

We had tasted Tomaz wines early in the week in Porec and had a glass of their rose when we visited. Delicious wines, definitely worth a stop!

Hrana koja dolazi uz prezentaciju vina odlična i jako ukusna, Sommelierka Nedjeljka koja nam je prezentirala vina bila je srdačna i profesionalna.

Obišli smo dosta vinarija u Istri, od manje poznatih pa do razvikanih… Odlučili smo posjetiti vinariju Tomaz, ono što smo tamo doživjeli je nadmašilo sva naša očekivanja! Naš sommelier Franc K. je primjer vrhunskog profesionalca koji je cijeli doživljaj potpuno zaokružio i definitivno je zaslužan za naše buduće posjete i preporuke! Sva vina koja smo probali a bilo ih je podosta (Flaminio rose, Avangarde malvazija, Barbarossa teran 2019, Nera crna malvazija 2018, Sesto senso malvazija) su bila na najvećem mogućem nivou. Sve preporuke za ovu vinariju i osoblje koje je profesionalno, ljubazno, educirano i strpljivo! Vinarija je moderno uredena sa predivnim pogledom na Motovunski krajolik.
