Hotel Vela Vrata

A fairytale old town and a beautiful hotel. People working in the hotel are very friendly and pleasant. So glad we stayed there with our kid, he loved it so much. It was such a beautiful experience.

Only tried the restaurant and it's perfect! The prices are understandable knowing the quality of the dishes. Pastas are soooo good and the desert with almonds??? Delicious.

Lovely hotel! The bed was really comfortable, and the area is a small village with romantic atmosphere. The restaurant in the hotel was truly fantastic and the breakfast too! Personal can speak good English and even some German! The pool was very relaxing.
The only negative aspect was the music in the terrace, but it stopped before midnight.
Really great experience for our first evening in Istria! 💙

Just perfect! Rooms were very cosy and clean. Service is super: super friendly and super helpful each person that is working there. Breakfast is not so big but for sure enough and tasty. Nice to have a swimpool as wel included. Also the restaurant is very good with of course the same excellent service. A better service is simply not possible: you really did everything so we only had to relax and enjoy our holiday! Thanks to everybody and we sure want to come back for another perfect stay!

Lovely restaurant up in the tranquil Buzet hill. The atmosphere and the view of the terrace is very pleasant. The waitor was very friendly and helpful, the service was high quality. We had a very nice Malvezia wine (reasonably priced). For food, we started with salad with pheasant breast and pasta with truffle, and got braised pheasant leg and roasted quail as the main course. Our son got home-made cheese ravioli with tomato sauce, loved it. Top-notch food. We had a great dining experience here. Highly recommended.

So beautiful and romantic 💕 place! Food was so great that most of Adriatic cost kitchens can't compare with - team obviously puts
lot of efforts in it. Location is perfect - I would say there is no more beautiful spots in Buzet. It was our happy place for all 4 days of our stay.

In the restaurant you may eat all courses with truffles. Prices are slighly above Croatian average, but it is worth it! Nothing's too good for the workers. You may enjoy one of the opposite terraces with panoramic view and more silence. There is a reserved parking area, but it is only for the hotel guests and not for the clients of the restaurant.

Buzet is a wonderful place if you come to taste truffles. Charming little village at the top of a hill accessible by car until now (If you stay in the hotel, you can park your car free of charge in the street). The 4* hotel offers lovely rooms with beautiful views over the Istrian valley and an indoor swimming pool. There is a great restaurant with only few tables indoor but a great terrace which is all you need when you have nice weather. Great breakfast buffet and attentionate staff.

Excellent and cosy hotel with lots of amenities, such as an indoor pool, a sauna, outdoor terrace with a spectacular view, and a restaurant. But, you can hear the AC during the night, so bring your earplugs along.

Amazing service, breakfast... everything, actually! I love coming here just to relax and enjoy the view from the terrace as I'm sipping my morning coffee. I really recommend this place. The people are so friendly and always helpful if you need anything.

Fantastic stay in istra. Very beautiful hotel with friendly and professionell staff! The restaurant offers food on a very high level. You must eat there! Parking is possible in front of the hotel. The perfect stay to discover istria!
