Old City Bar Pula

Ron the owner and his staff. Kemo. Valeria etc couldn't do enough for me when I was there a very lively night out and beautiful place in the centre of pula. During the day a great peaceful atmosphere for snacks and coffees etc. Again I think I've found my second home and family in these beautiful friendly people. We were looking for some place to go out and read about this place, also a lot of people were talking about a waiter named “Marcus” and when we entered we immediately know who he was. Super nice vibe that he had. Amazing waiter!!!

Excellent service, staff and food. Amina AND Bane are amazing. Recommend the pizza and great drinks. So friendly and cozy. Very welcoming regardless of your nationality. Highly recommend. I was unable to rate service and atmosphere but both are 5 stars as well. GREAT BAR!

Enjoyed the food here so much on my first night, that I came back on the final lunch before flying home.

Both times had the mixed meat platter, which was great value at €13. It came with 5 types of meat, mixed vegetables, red onion and ajvar. It doesn't come with any bread or potatoes, but those can be purchased as side dishes.

Good service. Quick and friendly.

The best waiter in town is Marcus! He’s genuine, super funny and kind. We received great advice from him for the best places around and also great recommendations for drinks. Go Marcus!

Food is excellent 😊 staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great 🙋‍♀🌸 and Spezial orders are no problem 😂😂 we tried nearly the whole Menü between all of us and we recommend it all

Very cool and cosy bar in the middle of the old town. The Barkeeper Markus was not only incredibly nice, he also gave us good advice about the local drinks and even ordered us a pizza when we told him we're hungry :D
We can highly recommend the bar and a chat with Markus.

Markus makes delicious Cosmo's. Perfect proportions, excellent shaking, first class service. Fully recommend!!

Best bar in the center of Pula. Music is great, service even better. Ask for Markus, he gives great reccomendations on everything you're interested.

Marcus was amazing. He helped us with a choice of local craft beers. Absolutely outstanding service.

Has to be a 5* as this was our temporary local on our 3 day stay in Pula in 2016. Nice bar with a large number of outside tables on the square. Most of the square favours restaurants.Norma and Liza love it. Something to do with the Port and Sailors on leave. Good sun trap. Proper pub feel inside and good place for a pee break! Pula is a working city with Tourist Hotels about 5K to the south. The city is far more interesting to visit..and drink in. Naffed off Ryanair stopped flying here..Tui are useless. 2023 update..still a great bar but restaurant prices near here are bleeping stupid. A bottle of wine minimum 30€. Most basic pizza 11€, add a topping 20€. Go for pasta tuna, meat etc take out a mortgage. How is a working city so much more than Rovinj, Rijeka and Trieste. Will stay in Old City bar and cry into my beer.

Great location, asked them to put the premier league on and they did straight away. Great service and recommendations from Markus with good drinks. Will come again

Great pub and restaurant in the centre of Pula. Nice service, average prices. You can watch sports on several TVs. You can smoke inside.

Inside and outside the location is so beautiful. Outside a huge square withe trees and fountain and very quite, Inside great old beautiful stamps of the city, old furnitures and all very well combined.

We had some drinks here. The atmosphere was really good, the staff very nice and the drinks were tasty. We didn’t like the smoking inside though.
