Planinarski dom Gorščica

Cool place in the forest with meadow nearby. Recommended for families, and people who love frreh air and peace. Visitors are mostly coming from east and northeast parts of Zagreb. It is available also by car, but go hike from Markuševec, its better for you and the nature.

When you leave Maksimir Park on your left side and then turn left, straight after Rivendel, Gondaor, and even five minutes ride after Mordor, you are there! Long ride into the forrest, but it is worth it!

Great place, on weekend there is an ok food selection. Lots of eating benches, lots of space for children to play. Nice and plesant staff. It is not lyxury, but it is great. Road to it is not difficult so also great for kids.

Very nice trail, easy/medium difficulty. Mountain hut is nice, small and cosy. Food is excellent- homemade and tasty.

Good wine, awesome food (try out "čobanac) and a place to prepare your own bbq if you want 👌 Awesome and highly recommended!
