Very tasty food, excellent wines, great location and very good service! We fully recommend it! The village is quiet and scenic too and nice for a post lunch walk, provided it's not too warm.

A delicious dinner and excellent atmosphere. The service was great! IF YOU ARE USING GOOGLE MAPS: be warned - if you just put in the restaurant name and take a car, it might lead you up a mountain meant for biking and hiking that is difficult to navigate. I would recommend simply navigating to Kastav, parking there and walking a couple minutes. Much easier.

This restaurant was very nice. The service is incredible and the food was amazing as well. The menu is interesting, you pick meat or fish and hot or cold and then they bring you a surprise dish. It is a little pricey. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Kukuriku restaurant on Kastav is legendary restaurant. Famous in all Croatia because of politic coalition.

Chef and owner of restaurant is Nenad Kukurin.

Nenad is running all the time from one guest to another and telling what to eat, what is fresh what to try.

Everything is fresh and grill just about right time.

Every little detail is carefully chosen and finish in the plate of customer.

They have great fish choice.

Prices are little bit higher than usually but worth it.

Still cheaper than Zagreb or the coast but much tastier.

Fabulous 5 course tasting menu (land / sea) with astute regional wine pairing. Unforgettable!!!

Excellent, homemade, fresh, delicious. Be sure to taste great Istrian wines!
