Far Out

We rented two touring bikes. The bikes were great for our cycle tour. We had no waiting time, the bike shop was always available by phone and the owner speaks good English. We originally chose Far Out because it had the best price for us in my online research.

A very professional team that fixed the bike of my wife on short notice the same day. For a really good price we could continue our journey. Very nice people, fully recommended!

Rented a city bike for a week in August. Although unobtrusive at sight the bike really had it in it! Upon arrival I had underestimated how steep many roads in Rijeka are, but had no problem climbing them thanks to the many gears.

With the bike also came a bike pack, a lock, a helmet and lights.

The staff was super friendly and helpful with heaps of local insight. Would definitely go there again! :)

Professional and very helpful guys who speak fluent English (so good for tourists). They fixed my front wheel, which was a tricky one, since the spokes kept getting lose. Had to be done twice and the second time trued from scratch, which they did free of charge out of professional courtesy, and thus saved my cycling holidays. Highly recommended!

Had a problem with my chain as it kept slipping and needed indexing after 40 days on the road. Thankfully we passed Far Out before heading into Slovenia and I could climb into border in peace 😅 Amazing service from the mechanics in the shop and Filip kept us entertained with good banter. Rijekja locals must be very happy to have a bike shop like this!! I am on a bikepacking trip and had some issues with my White Industries bottom bracket. Luckily the guys totally understood my not so standard bike with a lot custom parts. So I can totally recommend this shop to those who understand the value of craftsmanship. Thanks guys!!

Far out should get not just 6, but 7 out of 5 stars. The team & especially David were incredibly helpful, when we came to them with a broken rim during a bycicle tour. I think they may have called about half of Croatia to find a fitting replacement. (Its a bit of a special wheel.)
We were also entertained with crazy stories about all kinds of cyclists foing the EV8. Hopefully we can come back next time for a beer instead of a repair. ;)

Very friendly, experienced English-speaking staff. I needed to change cassette on a bike. They changed it, but also noticed other problems with the bike and pretty quickly helped with them as well. These guys love bikes and care a lot.

I had an emergency situation on my bike tour from Greece to England and the team at Far Out really saved the trip. It turned out that my freehub had shattered so badly that it wouldn't even come away from the wheel - a new wheel was needed and this was sourced within 24 hours. Good as new, and the bike has been behaving well in the week since. Very professional, very friendly service. Fully recommend.

just made a stop at Far Out on my bicycle trip croatia - munich. in need of a new inner tube. Exactly the seldom needed size of tube was not on stock, but one of the guys working there just took it off his personal bike for me. Thats first class service!

Great service, full spring maintenance plus some more done in almost a day. The owner is nice and very helpful and offered some good advice on touring rides and helped with choosing tires for my riding habits - mostly asphalt but also some woods, I think the RaceKing will do well. Will definitely come back for some equipment upgrade!

Filip and his crew provided top notch service after I crashed with my e-bike. The e-bike is now even better then it was before the crash :).
All was done in very short time.

Competitive prices, specially given service that is included. Bike service is also fast and effective (fixed my bike's gearing issues while we were choosing a bike for my wife). All recommendations!
