A very challenging trek, but absolutely worth it. We've done forest treks all over the world and the diversity of flora in this multilayered forest is breathtaking. Especially the top layer fog forest is amazing. The symbiosis between the trees and different plant & orchids types is 😍. It took us around 5.5 hours to reach Naranjo basecamp and then 1.5 hrs the next morning to reach the top. You need a decent level of fitness to do this hike to at least also enjoy the surroundings 💪🏻

Amazing hike, very steep terrain about half way. It’s been a while so details are foggy .... but somewhere around mile 4 or 5 was when we got to section that you are just scrambling up roots and rocks what feels like straight up for about an entire mile. My friend and I were able to summit in 1 day.

8 kilómetros desde la ciudad de Gracias hasta el Centro de Visitantes de Villa Verde. 5 kilómetros con una ciclovía totalmente pavimentada, en bicicleta es una experiencia agradable.
