El Lugar del Té & Chocolate Antigua

Amazing little shop and place to drink the best hot chocolate! The owner, Carolina is a great host. If you’re planning on visiting Copan, she is a wealth of knowledge and will be able to give you all the best tips!

This will definitely be one of my first stops next time I’m in Antigua!

Stopped in for a piece of chocolate and stayed over an hour. It was a beautiful (and delicious) cultural experience. The owner shared so much of herself and family’s history as well as many, many samples of chocolate. Be prepared to buy more than you had planned—and love every purchase. I also bought almost all of my gifts for family and friends at this shop and stopped back the next day for a cocoa drink that was pure perfection.

This store is really something special - the hanging flowers and cacao pods invite you into the store which has great energy. The products are all grown on the owner's family farm in Honduras and the product quality is excellent. You can get ingestible supplements like turmeric, all-natural topical skincare products like masks and creams, beautiful teas, and (my favorite) some really delicious and unique chocolates. Definitely make a stop at this store while you're in town, it's a great place to get some nice souvenirs for your friends and family back home!

This is my absolute favorite shop in Antigua. Discovered this place about a year ago and decided to try their shampoo bar and hair serum. I still use these two products religiously, as well as their lip balm, deodorant, repellent, and body oil. What I love the most about them is that they are eco-friendly and that all of their products are eco-consciously, home grown and organic. Once I’m out of a product, I bring that same container and they fill it up again with the same high quality product.

What a tiny secret hidden spot but so worth stumbling into this treasure. Carolina gifts you knowledge of traditional mayan teas, cacao, honey, vanilla, and all those lush creams, fragrant splashes, soaps and shampoo bars. I ended up leaving with plenty but so impressive the regenerative family farm. Def a must to learn from Carolina’s plant knowledge

This place is such a treat. I love their whole business model. Everything is straight from their own farm and you can find products here that you cannot find anywhere else.

Their chocolate is hands down the best in Guatemala.

Carolina is the best! The products are absolutely amazing. Fresh, natural, and wholesome. She gives samples! Love supporting female local business. She takes PayPal and cash. Timon the cat out front is an awesome greeter as well!

This place is amazing!!! Carolina takes special time to tell you what each product is made of and what the health/therapeutic benefits are. I went in looking for tea and came out with lotion, liquor, hair oil, and two different spices sauces. Highly recommend at least stopping by!

It's the best kept medicinal secret in Antigua, Guatemala! The owner Carolina has a wealth of health expertise. Products are authentic and unique to this area of the world.

This store is awesome! Herbal teas, body products, infused honeys, hot sauce, vanilla, chocolate... She is so nice and let me sample pretty much everything. This little store is a gem.

One of my favorite spots in Antigua. Such an awesome time how the kind Honduran woman gives you a whole experience. Samples, thorough eplanation and history of everything. Sooo friendly and the honey options are delicious and excellent!!!

Excelente tienda de productos orgánicos, la dueña te atiende de lo mejor, súper amable y agradable. Te explica como hacen los productos y como utilizarlos. Puedes encontrar distintos tipos de mieles, probióticos, tes, jabones, shampoos, cremas, aceites, dulces y mucho más. Aparte te permiten degustar la mayoría de productos que están riquísimos !

Cuando escuchas la pasión con la que Carolina te explica sobre cada producto y las plantas de donde provienen, te envuelve de tal manera que te sentís realmente a gusto. Te lo súper recomiendo!

Si quieren impresionar con un regalo aquí es el lugar por favor pidan que se los empaquen aquí mismo se van a sorprender!!!
