I was in Antigua for 6 weeks and I went here very week (and usually multiples times a week)!!!!
I started out by going to Frank’s free class on my first Friday night in Antigua (he’s got lots, but Fridays were my favorite). And when I rotated partners in the class to him he asked me if I had danced (which I had). He saw right away my level and after we discussed my goals I decided to start taking private classes with him. Which I LOVED! Frank knew exactly what i needed to work on and never let me get away with anything. His teaching style is an awesome mix of “you can do better” and “YES! That’s much better!” Frank focuses on technique and form so that you are over all a better dancer!!!! And therefore I feel like I could accomplish the more advanced moves he or others would through at me (even if I didn’t know them).
I loved his energy, too! He loves what he does and he simply wants other people to love it too (and with good form and technique!). Totally recommend because I do believe he is the best in Antigua (I tried other instructors) it’s SO AFFORDABLE (coming from a estadounidense/canadiense).

I spent about 2 months in Guatemala and took private classes every week with Frank. His attention to detail is unmatched!! I have taken salsa dance lessons before but never realized the small mistakes I was making that made my steps and turns look and feel unnatural. I still have a long way to go but the classes with Frank tremendously improved my confidence and abilities. I highly recommend his private lessons if you are looking to improve and grow as a dancer! His group classes are also great for beginners to practice basic steps and meet people :)

THE BEST SALSA STUDIO!! I love Frank’s classes because he goes over the basics for salsa and bachata. My first class I literally could not figure out how to turn on the beat lol. However after attending his free lessons, I was able to remember the steps and dance with ease. Frank is also so kind and I made so many friends from his studio. I highly recommend if you’re a solo traveler or doing Spanish classes in the area :)

Frank is a wonderful teacher, with a calm and straightforward approach to learning new dance styles. His teaching style is fun, positive and always easy to understand and follow and he makes sure everyone feels comfortable and seen during the class, it is obvious he has many many years of teaching experience. Frank loves dancing and loves his job and just wants everyone else to love it too! I would absolutely recommend this studio to everyone, whether a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, Frank will give personalized, positive feedback so you always leave a better dancer than when you arrive!

Loved my lessons with Frank! I attended a group class and then did private lessons during my time in Antigua. Frank is a really great teacher, he is really patient but also very focused on the detail which I wanted to learn and I felt like I learnt so much from him over a short period of time! Would definitely recommend lessons with Frank, and the group classes and socials are a great way to meet people!

Frank is simply THE BEST salsa teacher I have ever had!!! I am sad that I was only able to take one week of private classes, but in that time I learned more salsa than I have in my last two months dancing at a different studio. I actually was only planning to stay in Antigua for 3 nights, but extended it to a full week so I could continue working with him. Frank teaches very clearly, is very detail oriented, and will ensure that while you’re dancing, you’re dancing with good technique. He’s also a lovely person and has a great sense of humour. I am so, so thankful for everything that he has taught me — this studio might be a business, but it is clear that Frank is incredibly passionate about dance and cares deeply about his work. Come here and learn from Frank; I could not recommend this studio more!

I went to Frank’s free salsa class in my last night in Antigua and I’m so happy I did!! i was so tired and also sad to leave Guatemala but Franks class was just so uplifting! He is an excellent teacher, making sure we pay attention to the details of the basic foundation of salsa. I learned a lot and gained more confidence! If I had been staying longer I would definitely take classes with him! I would recommend this to anyone visiting antigua!

I had an amazing salsa lesson at Frank’s studio in Antigua! It was my first night in the city, and I decided to pop into a class for only $10. Frank separated me from the group with a partner to help teach me and gave me an enthusiastic and detailed lesson. He was patient, funny, passionate, and helpful. I had so much to learn, and he had so much to teach. Truly a highlight of my solo travel trip. I can’t recommend his studio enough !!

On Fridays, they offer free salsa and bachata classes. At the end of the class, they also provide free alcohol and drinks. Frank is very friendly and a really excellent dance instructor. If you're traveling, I highly recommend making memories here on Friday night. If you live in Antigua, I also recommend taking regular classes here!

Frank did amazing job during our private class. We are complete beginners and by the end we were able to do couple of steps. It was a good fun. He also does some free classes if you want to see whether you want to sign up for a private class. Definitely recommended!

Our group had so much fun at Frank’s Salsa Studio tonight! He did a great job teaching the dance steps and was very patient with us. We all laughed and had a great time together! I’d highly recommend visiting Frank’s while you’re in Antigua!!

If you are in town and you want to learn Salsa or Bachata from scratch - you HAVE TO visit Frank's free classes. It's so much fun and you can dance the basics afterwards. And if you want to dive deeper - go for the private lessons. I just love every second I spend with him dancing and he really shows you how to dance - so you can dance in todo el mundo.

Great vibe, great teacher. We stopped in for one of the free classes, had tons of fun, learned a lot and met really nice people. Frank is very kind and really gave one-on-one input to help us beginners who were struggling with even some basic moves. The party afterwards was super fun also. The classes are not intimidating even if you don’t have a background in dance.

In just 5 classes, Frank helped me improve my salsa technique so much! He helped me break bad habits that I’ve had dancing for years and I can already see a huge improvement. Would highly recommend for any skill level. Muchas gracias por todo Frank!

Come here!!! Even after only one hour Frank has taught you way more than you thought youd learn. His classes are fun and he can teach anyone to dance, regardless of ability. I am sure many Cinderellas have gone to the ball because of Frank!

Frank’s studio is amazing for many reasons!Frank is such a patient, social, and funny teacher. He makes you feel very comfortable to dance even when you don’t know to dance. You will leave his lessons with a great foundation of the dance steps. I totally recommend coming here!! On Monday, Tuesdays, and Fridays, he offers free dance lessons. I can’t express more how great he is! Definitely stop by if you are in Antigua.

Since 2014 I have been taking salsa classes with Frank, whenever I come back to Antigua Guatemala (2 times per year). I like his style as a dancer and also his approach as a teacher. He has helped me to improved my foundation to be able to grow as a dancer: now, after 8 months of trainings with Frank, I really enjoy social dancing with everyone.

Frank is simply the BEST!! He teaches you the details and nitty gritty of dancing, giving you the confidence to let go and just DANCE! His classes are SO much fun and he's a patient, kind, colorful soul. I recommend 100%!!!

We took a private class for bachata. Frank was a really good teacher, looking in on all the details and correcting us were we made mistakes. Unfortunately we could only take one class as we are leaving Antigua but if we had more time we definitely would have taken more classes with him! Would recommend 100%
