BEST DANCE SCHOOL!

I cannot recommend this dance school enough. Manolo is one of the nicest people I've met during my travels. His passion for dancing is contagious and I am glad he shared his passion and knowledge with me. The classes were a lot of fun and I learnt a lot. I already took some classes in Colombia and Manolo helped me a lot with the arms/lady style, which has always been hard for me, and to improve in general. He is super patient and teaches you everything step by step. From all the teachers I've had, he is definitely my favourite one. He speaks English but I asked him to do the classes in Spanish so I can practice. He even helped me improve my Spanish.The free classes at the weekend are amazing! It's a really nice group of people. I also took some classes with Martin. He is also amazing, a lot fun, and also a great teacher. He is super positive and the classes are always so much fun. I didn't take classes with the other teacher, Cerjio, but danced with him at a salsa bar. He is also super nice and an incredible dancer! If you are in Antigua, definitely go check out salsa y mas!

The best way to learn salsa!!!! Too bad you can't upload videos here - I could show you the before and after videos! I stayed in Antiqua for 5 weeks taking Spanish classes in the morning and salsa in the afternoon both with private lessons with Martin and with group classes (Thurs,Friday,Sat nights). Martin provides a positive dance environment that makes you feel like you can dance the night (or day) away. Highly recommend taking the time for some private classes - I did 10! The group lessons were fantastic too as it was a great way to meet people, learn different styles (not everyone will be a pro you are dancing with), and fun way to pick up new steps. Just drop by to arrange a class or instagram ahead of time! I am still smiling thinking of all the fun I had at Salsa & Mas!

My favorite salsa studio in Antigua. They offer free group classes Mondays from 5pm-6pm, and Thursdays/Fridays at 8* pm, which are always fun. The Monday classes are more formal whereas the Thursday/Friday classes start later (hint: usually not on time) but are worth the wait. The instructors do a great job of teaching and have a great energy in general. Always a good time.

I took a private lesson with Martin at the end of my stay in Antigua and it was a blast. He will meet you at whatever level you're at dance-wise and I'll definitely be returning when I'm back in town.

I honestly could not recommend this place enough. My partner and I stayed in Antigua for 2 months, because I love dancing (3 years of experience, mostly in Sensual Bachata and some Salsa) but there is no dance studio anywhere near his hometown so I wanted to find a professional to teach him both dance genres.

He had zero dance experience when we started, and 20 hours of private lessons later he learned so much and so rapidly thanks to the attention and expertise the instructors here were able to provide us. I also learned how to be a better follower and polished my technique thanks to the amazing one-on-one attention I was able to get here. We mostly took classes with Manolo, but all the instructors at Salsa Y Mas are extremely knowledgeable and welcoming.

There are free group classes on Thursdays and Fridays at 8:30pm, which are a great way to meet new people and to keep learning. We made some wonderful friendships here and I'm really sad to have to leave - I will definitely miss this dance school and the people!

What a great dance studio! Everyone is so friendly and they are all GREAT dancers. I first met one of the instructors here, Martin, at his free lessons on Mondays at El Barrio. His class was so fun my friends and I started taking private lessons with him. Martin is a great dancer and instructor. He is super fun to learn from but also takes his job seriously. You will definitely become a more confident dancer if you take lessons with him! With only a few weeks of learning salsa I feel comfortable going to local bars and dancing salsa socially.

Salsa y Mas is the best in Antigua; it is more than just a dance studio, it is a family! Martin is passionate about his students progression and is so much fun to learn from. He teaches salsa on1 and salsa on2.. when I arrived I did not dance much on2 and left dancing confidently on2. Also the owner Menolo sometimes does Rueda lessons, these are very fun and a great way to meet people! Reach out to Martin and he will give you all the info on classes! Take privates with Martin.. you will not regret it!

I had never danced in my life, but Salsa y Mas got me on my feet. The teachers are witty, patient, professional, and experienced. They’ll taylor the lessons to your level, and make you feel comfortable learning. Also, the free Friday night lesson, complete with drinks, is a wonderful way to meet people and learn more steps. I recommend this studio most highly, and I take lessons there every winter.

Salsa y más is a great dance school! We took 12 couple lessons with Sergio and he is a great teacher. He was really patient and I really feel like we learned a lot! Also the salsa evenings are fun with good value cocktails! (:

Salsa Y Mas has the most variety of Latin rhythms to learn, including salsa on 1 and on 2, cha cha cha, boogaloo, bachata, tango, flamenco and waltz. They teach the history of the dance, as well as technique for both male and female. They also offer salsa nights with free lessons and drink specials. A highly recommended dance studio when coming to Guatemala!

This is excellent place to learn salsa ,bachata y others. There are good teachers who also speak english. Also I could paticipar in free lesson on monday, thursday, friday and saturday with other forigner.

Best school in town, awesome instructors and soooooo much fun!!!! An absolut "MUST DO" when in Antigua!!!!!!!
