Attentive service and great atmosphere. The food was minimalist, beautifully presented, and full of unique flavor. You have the option to choose between 10 or 12 courses based on certain ingredients specific to the season. Expect lots of veggies. My partner and I selected 10 courses and ended up very full, even though each course is small. Would recommend to anyone who is willing to spend more than the average restaurant in Antigua.

The only gastronomic restaurant in Antigua, and it’s a well-kept secret. We chose the 12-course tasting menu with wine pairings and were very happy. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the food. The chef has an impressive pedigree from several of the world’s best restaurants. He offers creative twists on local dishes with local ingredients, making this more Guatemalan than many of the restaurants you find in Antigua. The restaurant is tiny — we were only two tables on a Wednesday night. Apparently if you want to see the chef your best bets are Friday and Saturday nights. Enjoy!

Brilliant and inventive cuisine. We went in the office season and they opened the restaurant just for us. Really enjoyed our meal and the whole experience

This experience was was beyond anything we would've expected. For the price and the quality of food we could not have asked for more. All 10 courses with the wine pairing were sensational. When we return to Antigua this will be our first stop again!

One of the best fine dining experiences I’ve ever had. There were three of us and it came out to ~$130/person for the 12 course tasting menu and their natural pairing of mead. Which were absolutely spectacular

There were only two other diners when we went at 7pm on a Wednesday night - we like to think we got extra attention from the two chefs. All the dishes were fabulous. This would have costed $300+ in America so that may have made the food taste even better too

A must visit if you want a culinary experience in Antigua. Be sure to try their mead

What an amazing experience! The food and the chefs were great! Such a great place to try out if you’re in town. No regrets what so ever. Do the 12 course & pair it with the Mead pairing, so worth it! Our only regret is not taking pictures of the food haha. 5 Stars all around!

Truly the closest thing to a Michelin-starred dinner in Antigua! Chef Rodrigo Silva continues to reinvent himself and his craft at his new location for Quiltro. The 12 course offering demonstrates his ability to be daring and show off his vulnerable side as he pushes himself to further heights including fish skin chicharronnes and jackfruit-vinegar infused cucumber dishes along with fan-favorites including pork chicharrones and beef steak with pepita sauce and cheese tamales. The atmosphere is relaxed, happy, and chic. Sip on his homemade hydro-miel which serves as an amazing palette cleanser. Our most recent visit also started with a great shrimp amuse-bouche, and ended with a succulent black beer ice cream and toffee followed by a Ron Zacapa nightcap. Quiltro is a can’t miss anyone who enjoys fine dining - and the price cannot be beat in Guatemala. We love to visit Quiltro and Chef Rodrigo with every trip to Antigua!

Exceptional. We found this place walking by and were able to get a reservation for that night. I did 10 courses with a mead pairing. Chef Salvo was spot on with amazing creations.

Lovely restaurant in Antigua, friendly staff the owner explains each dish. There is only a tasting menu in the evening, a la carte for lunch, we enjoyed 8 dishes with a pairing of 2 glasses of wine. Vino ‘verde’ a Portuguese wine and a Spanish red. Very modern feel, we felt like we were in a high standard European restaurant. All dishes very pleasing to the eye. Decor minimal but warm.

My fiancé and I had the 10 course meal and everything was so delicious! We kept complementing the chef because we enjoyed this Chilean-Guatemalan fusion!

Definitely worth it if you are looking for modern cuisine in Guatemala. We had the 8 course tasting menu and all the dishes were good and some of them exceptional. The decoration is minimal clean. Regarding the food, you can tell the Scandinavian influence. Living in Copenhagen, I can say that Quiltro is on pair to some of the best restaurants of modern cuisine I've tried in Copenhagen and that is a bold statement.

This place is amazing. The chef really cares and so does his staff. You can tell by their smiles as they talk about this food that is extremely creative by any standards. It's such a great price for a 10 course meal executed mostly a la minute by the chef with only 16 covers a night!!!!! In the states this would be $200 per person easily. If you're on vacation and you are inspired by inspiring food, eat here. It's worth it. And it supports true creative culinary arts.

I'm not prone to writing reviews, but I have to for this place. It was just amazing and I can't recommend it enough. The flavors were new and fresh and so creative, the presentation was beautiful and the service excellent and friendly (they even tolerated my mediocre Spanish). I had the 8 course tasting menu with the wine pairings, and I couldn't have been happier! Just as an example, the dessert was an ice cream made from dark beer. I can't even begin to describe the rest of the dishes, but none of them disappointed. Worth every penny, I'm so glad I took a chance and indulged.

Best food of my life. Amazing price for such good food. Get the 12 course meal, you won’t regret it. Rodrigo is passionate and helpful to explain what the dish is and how to eat it. Now I can’t visit this city without eating here - might even travel back solely to experience this culinary beauty.

Great place to experience. Definitely a different way to learn about Guatemala and it's richness.Very interesting flavors with a mix of traditional and contemporary cooking. Out of the box thinking. Still a little rough on the edges but nothing that experience can't handle :)

Great place, wonderful food!!! Chef Rodrigo is incredible, the mix of flavors and creativity in each single dish is remarkable. The shrimp was delicious but my favorite was the beet ice cream. Strongly recommend this restaurant and the amazing experience.

We had a very nice fine dining experience at Quiltro during Semana Santa last month. The degustation menu was unique and the service was on point! To me, this restaurant will be Michelin-starred if the famous guide was operating in Guatemala. Try it out!
