What an amazing place to try! The most delicious soup I have ever had. The soup was so flavorful and great, despite the hot temperature outside during the day, ai had no regrets eating a hot soup. Was so worth it!

This was a great place to eat when it got a little chilly at night, it warmed our souls right up! We really enjoyed it and the soups were served with tortillas, their horchata was also amazing!

Super delicious local food. Love the soups here. Came back twice on my short trip here in Antigua because I wanted to try it all, although I was just solo traveling. Great food. Cute restaurant. Good service and staff. Highly recommend if you love soups. They have much more than soups but that's what I came here for and what I came back for. So good

Such a great restaurant all around! I can here last year when I was in Antigua and got the Pepian, and it was so good I got it again when I returned this year. It did not disappoint, so fresh and delicious. Good price and good portion! And the staff is very attentive.

Best caldo I’ve ever had, and one of the best meals I had during my stay in Antigua. The caldo de pata was extremely satisfying even on a warmer day. Will come here again next time I visit the city.

I know there was a review that said they only accept cash, and that there’s a sign in the restaurant that says cash only, but when I went to pay / asked I could pay with card, they took my visa!

The soup was super solid. Very flavorful and nourishing. My wife got the tomatillo soup, and I got the beef stew, and we couldn’t stop talking about how good it was!

The tortillas that came with the soup were alright, not as good as some I’ve had. But this isn’t a tortilla focused joint- there’s other places for that.

Must try hidden gem for authentic Guatemalan food! The staff are very friendly and the prices very affordable. You gotta come here and treat yourself plus help the locals. I had the Pepian (chicken stew) and the churrasco.

Super nice place for traditional soup meals. We wanted to jump out of tacos and other similar meals and this was super. Good service, good amount of food, would recommend Pepian.

I love soups. Thats my favorite meal so that gives you an idea I have tried many soups. This location has the best soup ever, which is named the Jocon. The best soup ever.!! did I say mentioned that already? 😋. Great service and fresh and delicious food. Please do yourself a favor and try this place, you will not regret it.

I live in fear of “grade inflation” but derive great pleasure from giving credit where credit is due. Given the artistic and cozy atmosphere complimented by inviting music and lighting, the attentive service, excellent food and reasonable pricing “La Casa” is more than deserving of its five star rating. Both of our typical Guatemalteco dishes, as well as our dish (more food than we needed—they might have earned a bonus star had the suggested it) were all delicious. Highly recommended.

Most authentic, flavorful Guatemalan food I found. Very reasonably priced and attentive service. Atmosphere is somewhat lackluster.

I couldn't be happier about finding this place. I asked some people about it before going and they all way wonderful things to say about it so I had to try It myself. Turns out they were all right. I tried Hilachas, and it has to be one of the best soups I've ever tried. It was delicious and SO full of flavors.
Im definitely becoming a regular for my whole stay in Antigua.

About the atmosphere, I went at night and it feels like a really cozy candle lit place, with really good music that matches the vibe.

The staff is super welcoming and warm.

10/10

One of my favorite restaurants in Antigua! I literally go here to eat 3 times a week because everything on the menu is so in salt delicious! You gotta try the Caldo Tielpeno and fish! The staff is very friendly and the interior is very charming. One note, watch out for their bathroom step!! Can’t wait to go back!

This cozy restaurant services such delicious authentic Guatemalan dishes like pepian and jocon. It was recommended to us a couple of times and we ended up eating their twice. It’s extremely affordable with large portions.

One of my favorite meals in Antigua that was recommended to us by a local. The sopas were all excellent and were perfect for a cool December night in town.

Definitely give this place a shot!
