My new home in Antigua. I almost don’t want to recommend as I worry about being able to stay in the future as it will get so popular. A hidden gem. It was charming, safe, comfortable, run by kind and helpful father and son team, spectacular views, shared kitchen and table.. Perfect location for a single, semi working traveler!

Absolutely fabulous from the moment you book. Hugo the owner will take care of you in every way: shuttle, taxi tours, restaurants reservations, etc. I loved my stay here and will come back anytime. Thank you Hugo🤗

Service and location were exceptional. The rooms were clean, but they could do with a slight touchup (light switches etc). Overall, the place was perfect and we will be back.

I've stayed at Posada San Sebastian for all my visits to Antigua, over the past two decades. It hasn't changed - and that's a good thing. Its hosts speak perfect English, it's 3 blocks from the Parque, and it's a perfect home base - for hanging out or going out. The rooftop deck gives a gorgeous view of the surrounding volcanos and the City Center. It's homey. It's not fancy, but it's filled with love. There are single, double and triple rooms. The price hasn't changed all that much in 20 years, and it's extremely reasonable, especially if you're traveling with friends. They will also arrange your car to and from the air port, as well as help you arrange trips to Lake Atitlan.

LOVED my 3-night stay at this charming Posada right in the heart of beautiful Antigua! Hugo and his dad were excellent hosts, always helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The room I got was spacious and full of character. There was always hot water in the shower, and the laundry service was excellent and affordable. I also appreciated the free drinking water and coffee provided. The location is perfect - close to absolutely everything in Central Antigua, yet on a quiet street. When I accidentally left my earphones in the hotel room after checkout, Hugo made the effort to find them and arrange to mail them to me!

Oh my goodness - 5 stars over and over again! We LOVED our stay here. You have the privacy of a rooftop/your room, but can also converse with other guests if you'd like... Hugo and Luis are both extremely hospitable, friendly, and willing to help in any way. Not to mention to hotel is scattered with hundreds of the most interesting antiques. Don't miss out on staying here if you're in Antigua!

Stay here on your next trip to Antigua!!! Hugo was amazing when we had to change hotels last minute and accommodated us. The rooftop terrace was a relaxing way to end the day. Everything is clean, so welcoming and quiet. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, especially as a female. Hugo gave us the best food recommendations around town and we ate/drank well this trip.

Hugo has been of a super great host and so accommodating even before our check-in. The location is great, room is spacious and quiet, decorations are unique and fun. Wifi was also amazing for all my zoom meetings.

I would definitely come back again and recommend this place to anyone! I also don't normally leave reviews, but Hugo and this place have been so wonderful that it's definitely worth my effors to share!

Amazing stay! Owners are super friendly, nice rooftop terrace, perfect location. All very clean and decoration inside is wonderful! I used the garden for doing some work/study. I will definitely return to this place when back in Antigua, highly recommended!
