Oceana Resort + Conventions Hotel All Inclusive

Took a chance on the only all inclusive resort located in Guatemala and let me tell you we as a family of five were overwhelmed with how incredible of a set up Oceana provides. The location, the pools, the activities, the food and especially the service were all five star. Two things that stood out the most were the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the staff. We loved our stay and with two 4 year olds and a 6 year old the kids would tell you their favorite part was staying in the giant pool from sun up till sun down for six straight days. We would definitely visit again !

Super friendly and helpful staff. Food quality is good for the volume of guests everyday BUT if you want to drink better liqueur, you have to purchase your drinks package before check in if possible.
Very spacious, several pools close to the rooms or closer to the restaurants/ocean view. Bring your soccer or volleyballs, they have special sand courts for these sports.

The place is beautiful, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The entertainment was great, the food was delightful. The only drawback was the noisy neighbors above, and we were right by the elevators, so that didn't help with noise either. The pool outside our building was perfect, as were the main areas as well.

The place is beautiful, food is magnificent, the view of the ocean is amazing, and don't get me started on the service. Would totally go again.

Such a great place to relax and unwind. Food was delicious and buffet style. Bar were open from 11am - 11pm. And the gym was accessible 24/7! The room was clean and cold! Bathrooms were always around the corner outside. We had a great time and will be back!

Excellent customer service and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and air condition. The meals are good. They have a variety of foods to choose from. They have great entertainment throughout the day. It just an awesome place to spend it with the family. Good place for a rest and relaxing weekend or week. I highly recommend this place.

This is, by far, the best beach resort in Guatemala. Super clean and neat. Great service (shootout to Cesar the waiter, Heidi the front desk manager, and Jorge the manager, and the guy from sports and entertainment)

Food and drinks are of great quality (oh, Lester the chef is also great!), you have to try the Italian restaurant!

The pools are very nice, and the white sand areas too.

We had a great time, and will sure be coming back soon.

We had a really good experience in this all inclusive, I think it's the first in Guatemala! Everything it's new and it shows. We loved our stay and as we have done a few all inclusive over the world, here are some recommendations for them :
- the food was delicious, but more diversity would be good on the buffet ( 2 buffets near the beach, but they served during our staying week the same food on booth)
- It would be good to have more indications signs on the site... I discovered they had golf at the end of the staying by chance 🤷🏻‍♀ also they have bbq/grill buffet at some point and I passed by thinking it was only with prior reservation, when I asked they told me It was open for everybody (I hadnt eat yet so I could try and once again delicous food) but yeah..more indications signs to all the activities/ buffets/ main things on the site would be great so we don't miss things
- the kids area is also really great 🤩 but the playground is not covered from the sun so I could not let my kids go or they would burn
- at some point the games at the pool were repetitive, so more diverisity could help. The animation team was friendly, enthousiast 👍🏼 they just need more games ideas
So those all the little things I saw and they can improove, but they are already really really good! I will come back with my family and recommand this place to everybody 👍🏼💯 a new way to discover this country and their people 😊

We really enjoyed our days at Oceana! Loved the location, the modern and clean facilities but the best was the customer service, every member of the staff made our stay the best. I also wanted to share that I forgot my wedding rings in the room, when we got back to the city that night, my husband received an email from them to tell us that they found them. We had such a great time that we decided to pick them up in person and stay one more night. I am a proud Guatemalan living in the US and I highly recommend them!

Go.Go.Go.. Yummy , 😋 😋 fresh food aka delicious. Warm and kind staff. They are very attentive to you needs..great customer service...Rooms are clean and beautiful. VERY comfortable beds 🛌 sleep like a baby. Drinks 🍸 🍹 🍸 🍹 all around you...swim up bars...many pools...pick one...anyone...beautiful 🌞 ☀ 🌤 and no clouds. It's a two hour drive to the hotel from th we Airport but it's worth it. A hidden 💎 💎 💎. Don't qait...go now...you will be speaking Spanish in no time...Go Enjoy yourself... You deserve it. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

It was good experience, the food was good. They have the same playlist on the bar and restaurants every day 🤔 and they could improve by cleaning up the seashore. They are building a wave pool that is going to be available in November 2022.

This is the best all inclusive hotel I’ve ever been. The staff members are very friendly and helpful, specially Yonesti he went above and beyond to make sure that were enjoying our vacations. The room was very comfortable. The location is great and the weather is awesome. They follow all the government guidelines to prevent COVID-19 and sanitized constantly all the areas.

Incredible all-inclusive beach resort. we had five kids, so we had to purchase two rooms. Ended up costing about $250 for each room per night. That's reasonable considering That's all you can eat food and drinks including alcohol. There's a nice restaurant which you need to make reservations for the day before. There's also a snack bar open 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. where you can get wings, french fries, onion rings, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and lunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and dinner is served from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. pits set up with marshmallows to roast. We most enjoyed the beach because The waves were gigantic. Yes it was a little dangerous, but there are lifeguards... Or at least one. the black sand was so fun, although it got pretty hot during the day. :-) our next favorite thing was the slip and slide set up on top of a big hill. Next, we loved the pools and slides and the fact that there is no one telling you to wait or that you can only go down feet first, we like a little more freedom that you get here and Guatemala. :-) in our opinion, the food for breakfast lunch and dinner was not top-notch, we enjoyed the food much more at a resort we went to in Puerto Vallarta. Also one big recommendation we have is for the resort to have things translated to English because there are very very few people that speak English, so it was a little tricky for us ordering and understanding how certain things operated. Definitely five stars, our family had a blast!

It was a great time, the customer service was excellent and the food of the restaurant was great, the only thing the can improve is the food of the buffet but other than that it was nice.

I was one of first users at location so for me it was very nice. Everything is new. Service and stafing are outstanding. Recommend it to anyone... the pools are very nice especially the pool bar. Easy access to the beach.

Beautiful resort with multiple pools, a surprisingly fun mini golf course, beautiful gym, great rooms, nice service - the whole package. I definitely recommend and hope to stay here again.

Awesome place to stay next to the beach! A little crowded during Friday and weekends, but good food, good drinks and fabulous views!
