Restaurante El Tambor Antigua

You can't beat the view. The food was good and pricing is fair. It's a short trip out of Antigua. The road is adventurous but worth it.

I love this restaurant. The staff is excellent, the food is great and the views are absolutely breathtaking. It’s a little difficult to get to, but it is well worth it if you book it as part of the ATV tour. Especially watching the sunset while sipping a margarita and eating delicious bites. Highly recommended. An absolute must see while in Antigua.

If you are in Antigua and you're looking for a nice/romantic place to watch the sunset from AND have amazing lokal food for a good price don't hesitate.... Take an Uber and visit this awesome place. I had a traditional soup with chicken and veggies with an avocado topping - best food so far in Guatemala.

Oh and they grow their own Avocados in their garden so you can watch the tiny Avocados growing on the hills. And do some Instagram pictures for your fans ;)

The food was delicious and was a really good price. We had a big group ho up and the had no trouble accommodating us! Amazing views and atmosphere. No English menu that I saw but every item has a picture beside it, so it was mo problem ordering what we wanted. Definately recommended to try!

A hidden gem! Fantastic local fresh food loaded with fresh cilantro, avocado, scallions topped a gorgeous view of the volcanoes. A must stop for real Guatamalan food!

An amazing space with good food. The view is remarkable.

This place has amazing view and delicious food. Their fresh sauces have great flavours and the portion seizes were spot on. Everything was very clean, the staff were very friendly and it was a great place to relax for sure. They even have hammocks to collapse into and a mini plant nursery. A hanging sign on the street would be helpful as it is open but at street level doesn't look open. They also have parking spaces.

Fish was awesome, wife had the gallina soup and it was more than she could finish ... Prices were reasonable and the view was spectacular ... Drive was a little rough, but if are used to driving in Antigua you will be ok

beautiful facility with attentive and friendly staff. BEAUTIFUL view of Antigua and surrounding mountains. HUGE portions of delicious food. Amazing lounge area. Not to be missed if you are in el hato.

Delicious, authentic food. One of the best meals we had on our whole trip and the sunset is incredible!

It was a long way up the walk, but the food and view were worth it!
