Finca Ixobel

I don't know much about this place so I am commenting only on things I know. I went there with a group for a coffee. The coffee was very good. I also wandered around (their garden) and photographed beautiful flowers. So did my companion. See a few attached pictures.

We needed an overnight stay after a long drive. This place was just what we needed. Right off the highway. Great location. They even had horses. Will definitely go back

Wonderful little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Poptun and other cities. It was a nice break from action in between Flores and Rio Dulce/Livingston. Poptun is a unique town worth exploring for a day or two. The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast and dinner.

It is one of the most beautiful places between Rio Dulce and Flores.
We stayed there with my two kids (7 and 3 yo) in a tree house. Awesome experience and the sounds of the nature during the night were beautiful. We did some short trekking and even though the path was muddy and challenging, the kids adore it.
The food was enough and the homemade bread was delicious.

We stopped here for a hike to the cave on our way to Tikal today. Our family really enjoyed th hike and had a great lunch at the restaurant afterwards. Both were priced fairly for Guatemala and the vibe around the farm was very positive and relaxed.

It's been a few decades since I first stayed overnight here on the way to Tikal, and I remember the stay and people as very nice. A decade later, I went back, and things were just as nice. Friends still visit on their way to Tikal.

We had a very good buffet dinner, we spent a night in the treehouse and it was a little creepy because of the sounds of nature but for the rest it was perfect. We all enjoyed it! Breakfast was amazing too! Congratulations to the staff and very good service!

I stayed here for 7 nights, a lot longer than I anticipated. The dorm was 45q, you get a mosquito net over the bed, a ton of blankets, towel, soap and close by a hot shower! An actual legit hot shower - you don't tend to get that in Guate for this price.
The restaurant serves really good food, slightly on the expensive side but you get a lot of food. They also bake their own cakes, I cannot recommend the cinnamon rooms for 7q enough, I had one nearly every day I was there.
It's quite a big complex with ponds, hammocks, and a lot of activities. I didn't do much of anything tbh but relaxed on hammock and read. I couldn't have felt more relaxed. There is free wifi but it's a bit on the slow side.

I'd highly recommend.

Stopped by for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Very good food, great service. Homemade banana bread and clean restrooms.

Place was beautiful looks like a little camp style just be careful I almost got attacked by a snake in the darkened restroom!!! Pring lots of bug repellent too mosquitoes live nearby

it was wonderful staying at the tree house. I enjoyed it tremendously. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Tikal, Guatemala.
