Beautiful place to spend the day with kids. Water is clean, and you spot fishes. A lot of shade areas.

Perhaps the most beautiful part of the lake! You can approach it either on foot from San Miguel or you can combine it with Mirador de Canek. Boths sites are connected. The entrance to the beach costs only 10q per person and the site is kept really clean with lots of seating options. There is also a bar on site that offers cold drinks. The water on this side is really clear and the platform makes it the ideal place for diving! Come early and avoid weekends so you can have the whole place to yourself!

Really nice place to take a swim. Relaxing atmosphere with families and locals just chillin.
From Flores, find Capt. Louis, get in the Lancha he uses to taxi people and take a nice boat ride to this beautiful area. I highly recommend it as an activity if you want to swim and hang out a bit. No sand here really, but there are picnic tables to sit and put your things on..have fun!

Great little beach, 10Q entree fee, but there are tables and umbrellas for you to sit.

They sell some drinks, beer is 10Q, cola 8Q, which are great prices.

When you come from Flores Island, they will offer to take you directly to the beach by boat, which will be at least 75Q each way (this was for 2 people). We just took the boat San Miguel for 10Q pp, and from there the walk is about 25 minutes through the forest so you'll walk in the shade.

This place is wonderful, you can get here by boat or by car, although only 1 car was here the whole time we were here. We charted a boat which charged us Q240 round trip for 12 people including children.

We luckily had an afternoon to spare before leaving Flores, and came here on a recommendation from a local at Los Amigos. I'm so happy we did! It was a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon at the end of the dock, where would could easily jump off and swim. The water here is much cleaner than other swimming areas closer to Flores.
From the main water taxi area in Flores, we negotiated a Q5 price per person (we were in a group of 4) to cross over the San Miguel. Then we hiked the rest of the way. There is a really cool lookout/treehouse to climb that gives Spectacular views of the whole area.

Stay on the beach for the sunset, or jump into a boat and watch from the water. This was a peaceful and rewarding way to spend a few hours.

We came for an afternoon from Flores, very pretty private beach with lots of locals swimming and using the BBQ picnic areas. It was a lovely safe atmosphere. We walked there after the mirador and took a lancha back to Flores Island for 20Q one way each.

It's a beautiful and clean Beach where you can see a clear water with little fishes. Is next to the Mirador Canek and the entrance cost is 5 GTQ.

Gorgeous place. I felt like I was on a Carribean beach. Make sure you visit the Mirador for sunset on your way back to San Miguel.

I loved this place. So quiet and dreamy.

Magical, we got there and the heavy rain made the place even more special, no turist, just a couple locals,, you can even meditate or do yoga 😀😀
