Cheep and basic. Private and shared rooms and also camping options on the roof. Perfect match for low budget stay.

The "Get What You Pay For" experience in San Marcos. Very basic, sand on the floor, wonderful & kind woman running the hostel with many children, 2 people for 75Q a night on a dormitory was acceptable.

For 40Q you can sleep on the concrete roof in a tent. There aren’t many extra amenities here, but there’s WiFi, a hot shower, a kitchen area, and some common space to hang out. Everything is pretty basic, not fancy by any means, but it’s not bad for 40Q. I don’t know how comfy the rooms or dorms are, I only slept in a tent here.

Shanty town feel. A bit basic but cheap and away from the main streets. Only Spanish spoken.
