Carlos is an amazing host. He made great recommendations for town as well.
This is a very quiet location. The courtyard gardens have hummingbirds and butterflies consistently. Town is a short 5 minute walk away. with a market and restaurants.
When it rains you have a few locations to sit outside and enjoy the rain, or sit on the top veranda and look out of lake Atitlán and the three volcanoes. You cannot beat the view from there as you wakeup in the morning, or watch the sunset light slowly go up the volcanoes. Extremely relaxing.

Nice quiet place, away from the hustle and bustle of the town center but yet within a short walking distance from most main areas of San Marcos. Carlos has done a great job of building and decorating this beautiful Spanish Colonial design home.
