If you are visiting Guatemala and would like to visit one of the beaches the country has, Monterrico Beach is the geat place for it. Located 2 hours away from Antigua and 3 hours from the City. You can easily get there by booking an special bus or just a Chicken bus. The beach is located in a really good place, there are plenty of hotels and restaurants for your budget. Enjoy your stay!

AMAZING beach with AWESOME resorts and amenities nearby! You can rent dirtbikes and run around the sand too! It is hot as hell always and the weather is beautiful! Not for swimming as the tides are huge and can shuck someone away but other than that its great for sunbathing or relaxing!

really nice, spacious beach. Palm trees in the background, not overbuilt with big hotels. That doesn't happen that often in this world anymore.
