This was one of the highlights of my visit to Antigua! This place is pure magic, with such a beautiful vibe! Upon arriving at the farm, a guide showed me around, explained everything and it was free of cost; however, I would suggest tipping the guide as they do a great job! The guide also took me to the store where they have fantastic products available for purchase and they offer a free short facial massage with their amazing macadamia oil! After all of this, I finished my visit in the restaurant, where I tried chicken smoked on macadamia shells and their legendary macadamia pancakes – both incredibly yummy! There are also several sweet rescued dogs living at the farm, who can join you on the tour of the farm. I also had the chance to meet the owner, a beautiful lady inside and out. She co-created truly magical place.

Valhalla Macadamia Farm is a hidden gem just outside of Antigua. You can get a local chicken bus here quite easily and for approximately 7 quetzales each way. The food was delicious! We tried the vegetarian sandwich and traditional pancakes. Both of which had macadamia nut elements. The tour of the farm was very informative, and ended with the opportunity to try some of their products, and a lovely face massage! Would highly recommend visiting here!

A great place to visit. We did the tour which was short but informative. Our guide was very friendly. We ate a pancake in the restaurant with a cup of coffee. Both quite delicious 😋

What a great place to visit. Our family really enjoyed about a two hour long visit. Uber made it super easy to / from Antigua. Take the free tour and samples, have lunch, buy some gifts, have a massage, and just relax.

Must go if in Antigua. Go!

Either call an UBER (app. +/- $10 or hop on a local bus (direction San Miguel Duenas) for 7Q (app $1!). Ask the driver to drop you off at “Las Macadamias.” It took me 25 minutes on a bus that was impeccably clean, spacious & with a very cautious driver. The bus stop in Antigua is right next to the Central Artesan Market. The bus drops you off right at the entrance of the Farm; walk a few steps to their parking area & you are there.

The tours are in English or Spanish continuously during the day. At the end, you can sample chocolates, macadamia olí or buy nuts; but no obligation.

There is a restaurant with either outdoor sitting or covered (among the macadamia tree forest). The property is impeccable, well marked, comfortable & so relaxing. After the tour I sat under the trees & ordered, what else but macadamia ice cream.

The story behind the farm is quite romantic. A San Francisco fireman married a Guatemalan lady & started planting macadamia trees & raised a family. The farm remains a family business. All their production is consumed locally although I learned they export macadamia oil, soaps & creams; just no nuts.

Is a very beautiful, peaceful green place. The minute you get down from your vehicle, you smell the sweet aroma of the macadamia flower. We got to tested raw and in chocolate. They also had macadamia ice cream 🍦 is was okay I rather have it in chocolate. The workers were very friendly, and they gave us a facial using macadamia oil that they make.

Amazing farm. They also do a free tour with a macadamia oil face massage at the end!
The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The ice-cream is the best thing I've ever tasted!

This place is amazing. Through the free tour, we learned about their process of growing, harvesting, and processing macadamia nuts. They also place a huge emphasis on the well being and sustainability of their community by donating trees and food products to Guatemalans. The tour also included nut and chocolate samples and a facial massage. The macadamia pancakes and fresh orange juice at the restaurant were incredible. The farm is just so lovely, and I highly recommend a visit.

Awesome macadamia nut farm and tour. Great explanation the entire process. I love that they are trying to help people in smaller communities to get out of poverty through macadamia nuts. Great organization and wonderful tour.

I just found this place recently and I’ve been back 3 times! Their pizza is amazing, probably the best I’ve had in Guatemala, made with sourdough and all fresh ingredients. Their burgers are also amazing, and BEST coleslaw I’ve ever tried. Definitely worth the trip. They have a nice doggo family at the farm and they are just the sweetest dogs. Ricardo, his family and the entire staff are amazing and really make you feel welcome and at home!

Loved it. Tour is about 15 minutes long and you donate in the tip jar - no fee. There is a lovely, short face massage with their macadamia face oil and cream included - again .. donations in form of tips
Had coffee, fresh juice and waffles with egg, bacon and maple syrup and it was delish!

Amazing experience, great food, great staffs. Only 40 Qtz from Antigua with Uber. Go back to Antigua with chicken bus; wait out side and wave when you see the chicken bus.

I loved this tour! The place is incredibly wholesome and I learned a lot. It’s donation based but after the tour, it’s hard not to want to buy everything. They’re super generous and the tour includes tastings and a facial. The tour can be provided in English and they accept card payments.

I just walked in and asked for a tour, they gave me a private tour right on the spot, and at no cost. The product is good and has great spot to chill, get some food or a facial. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back.

Valhalla or the Vikings' home as I like to call it hahaha, is an incredible project, where the philosophy is take care of planet earth. The food is so delicious and most importantly everything is made of organic ingredients, even the toilet is a garden! Totally recommended if you're looking for a new experience with a different perspective of life.

Adding a visit here to your things to do list is a must. Come early and enjoy an amazing breakfast or lunch. The food is simply amazing. I would rate the pancakes as hands down the best i have ever tasted. The omelettes are equally impressive so you really cant go wrong.
Beyond the food the farm is doing amazing things with a focus off helping indigenous families so take a tour, enjoy a meal and relax in the beauty of the farm.
