This is one of the best Guatemalan restaurants in Guatemala! The salmon is delicious and cooked to perfection. It is served with their special Spanish and compliments the salmon perfectly. I especially like the Lomita steak that is served with caramelized, banana and a side of guacamole on a bed of lettuce. The service here is exceptional and very friendly. I enjoyed my experience so much that I had lunch here and came back for dinner as well. Both servers that we had were wonderful. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Antigua Guatemala.

Great food! Jorge was my server & he did a terrific job! Very attentive. I ordered the lemon chicken & it was so delicious & juicy! For dessert I had the cheesecake which I highly recommend.

The only recommendation I would make would be to the music. Maybe play more Spanish music or something else besides 80’s music.

Overall, 10/10 🙌

Brilliant. Romantic. Perfect place to go for a date with yourself. The food was fresh and tasty and the ambience was just right the servers were attentive as well. Also I like how when they bring the bill the servers do not wait at your table in front of you it doesn’t make you feel anxious or in a rush to check the proper amount, I’ve visited countless places in Antigua when they do that and make me feel pressured. I had to tell them to give me a moment that I need time to pay the bill it’s not professional. Thank you for not doing that

If you're searching for a culinary adventure in Antigua, look no further than Las Antorchas! This hidden gem offers a creative menu bursting with options for every palate. From their mouthwatering gluten-free pizza to their succulent grilled meats, there's something for everyone. The adobada was the juiciest and most flavorful I've had in a long time. The peppermint lemonade is a must have, especially if your recovering from a long night of drinking! I've never had anything like it. Las Antorchas is the perfect destination for those seeking delicious, diverse dining options in a cool atmosphere.

10/10 recommendation. The ambience was perfect because we sat by the fire. The drinks are so good I had the Jamaica and my girlfriend had the fruta exotica. We recommend the frog legs!! We ordered the Arrachera and Antingueño. The service was excellent and the Owner/Chef came to speak to us.

We had frog legs, tenderloin carpaccio and squid for appetizers; pasta and Antigua steak for main dishes. Carpaccio dish somewhat had extra oil on top. The orange juice is not real squeezed juice. But the local beer is good.

Food and ambience were nice - took off a star for atmosphere as they allow pets. The grilled vegetables were perfect!

Jorge was great! He gave good recommendations and was super friendly and attentive.

Jorge was a patient, friendly, kind waiter who made our meal experience wonderful! We enjoyed the grouper, duck, octopus, and the shrimp bisque. And the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

We were exploring where to eat and found this gem. Food was outstanding, and they catered to my wife’s specific request with her meal. Jorge was our server and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience.

Had the filet mignon (medium). Came with a jacket potato and some vegetables. The steak was wrapped in bacon and grilled but lacked some flavour and juices. Decent meal but wouldn't return. Kind staff and brilliant atmosphere.

For our last night in Antigua we wanted to have a nice dinner. Las Antorchas surely measured up to task AND THEN SOME!
We had the entire restaurant to ourselves. We arrived a bit close to closing time, however the staff was super accommodating and helpful. They recommended some of the best menu items and never once made us feel rushed!
The food was amazing. We never once had a bad meal in Antigua, but this was still in the top of them!
To start we had the calamari. It was seasoned to perfection and was not rubbery (which is easy to do when cooking it). Then for the main course we had the Orange Salmon and the Pasta Gorbachov. Both were so flavorful and rich! We also loved how they put a rambutan half on every plate, it was a nice touch. Honestly it was quite a lovely dinner. I would highly recommend it, even on a busy night!

Superb & wonderful! We were treated like royalty. Don’t know which is BEST - the marvelous food or the fun friendly atmosphere. Chez Christophe & Peppie went out of their way to make us feel very special. Don’t visit Antigua without a visit. I know we’ll be there!

Came back to back nights for this fire grilled Tomahawk! 🔥 Tried the French onion soup, Margarita Pizza, and Carbonara. Everything was sooo good. It's a little more high end and provides top level service and good-sized portions. My girlfriend and I highly recommend if you are hungry in Antigua!

I loved Las Antorchas so much I came back multiple times during my trip to Antigua.

The menu is reasonably priced and very affordable.

There are plenty of food options: from steak to pasta to burgers and seafood. They also offer gluten free options for pasta and pizza, which I loved and found hard to find around antigua.

The service is equally as good as the food!

I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

This spot offers tasty options at a reasonable price for tourists. We ordered a platter for 2 but it was large enough for 3-4 people to eat from it. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is beautiful.

Perfect mix of Swiss and Guatemalan cuisine. Staff and mood are upbeat and helpful. It's traditional without being stuffy or touristy. We'll return.

Wide selection of excellent food. Some confusion due to our poor Spanish language skills, but this was handled promptly. I wish this place was closer to home; I’d be back regularly.
