The Black Sand Beachhouse

I had such a great time here! The pool is an amazing touch since sometimes the ocean is a little rough to swim. The food was delicious - we tried the falafel, fish tacos, tostada de pulpo and veggie pizza and they were all great. The dorm was comfortable, good beds and it was nice and cool at night. Staff treated us great - would definitely recommend! :)

I was there for just a weekend and it was amazing! Staff were super helpful and kind (like I needed a plastic bag for my wet stuff and they were right on top of it), the food was great, and the view of the ocean was amazing! Thanks for the great weekend!

Beautiful terrace with relaxing pool, delicious food and muy amable empleados! Everything was very clean, I would really reccomend this place. Extended my stay with one night because I didn’t want to leave!

I was there when they open in 2019. I had a good experience so i came back few days ago. They just go new furniture! New rooms and terrace. Good vides and amazing location. I ll come back. Gracias

Inexpensive but great hosts and right on beach! Love it. They offer free breakfast and I have to leave early morning they agreed to give me free supper instead!

It’s a lovely place right by the beach. Very clean and the staff are extremely nice & helpful. The food was excellent and there are choices for vegetarians and vegans!

Enjoyed the stay! Very relaxing, clean, friendly staff, and GREAT food. Highly recommended!

Nous sommes restés dans une chambre privée. La chambre était propre et l'air conditionné fonctionnait parfaitement.
La salle de bain était aussi propre, mais attention il n'y a pas d'eau chaude ici comme dans beaucoup d'endroits au Guatemala.
Le lieu est idéal, directement sur la plage avec une piscine sur le toit.
La cuisine proposée est vraiment bonne et le personnel est agréable.

Note : il faut être au courant sur l'hôte fait aussi office de bar et qu'il y a de la musique toute la journée jusque dans la soirée. Ceci ne nous a pas vraiment dérangé.

El hostal tiene la mejor ubicación del pueblo en la pura playa y al final de la calle central,piscina, bar y restaurante que por cierto es muy buena la comida increíble terraza y vistas increíbles del atardecer.

Paraíso en Guatemala, buen servicio, comida deliciosa. La piscina en el segundo nivel le da el plus total. Recomendadísimo, regresaré por más a este lindo hotel.
