Booked the Tikal tour with Mayan world and it was excellent. Our guide Luis was very friendly and knowledgable, he helped spot animals like monkeys and toucans in the trees that we would have missed without him. He even made animal calls to get them closer. Thanks Luis!

Dear Manuel, many thanks for your friendly and professional service! Upon arriving in Guatemala driver Henry brought us from El Ceibo to Flores. Manuel joined us shortly before Flores and guided us to an ATM for withdrawing Quetzales and made sure everyone would find their way to their hotels. He was familiar with our host Dieter, and also offered to get us guatemalan simcards for only Q. 25. We booked the Tikal tour and had a blast at the site. Our guide Luis was very knowledgable, talkative and a damn good photographer too! We liked it so much that we booked the Yaxha tour the following day. No problem at all via Whatsapp! This time Loyd accompanied us. Also a fluent english speaker, great sense of humor, very well informed on the matter and made us feel like doing a tour with a good friend. On the way back to Flores we picked up another guide, Saúl, who made us wait for 3 minutes. He then went on to get a tray of Gallo beer and threw a round for all. Except Henry (same driver as 2 days before) ofcourse because he's a responsible driver 😬 Mayan World Travel helped making our stay in Guatemala the best part of our vacation. Very smooth journey from Belize city to Flores.
Changes shuttle at the Guatemalan border, when we arrived in flores one of the Mayan world staff got on the bus & gave us some tips & advise about the area which was useful.
Will use again.

We had an awesome time visiting Tikal on the sunrise tour. Our guide, Lewis, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgable and entertaining. He spotted all sorts of amazing wildlife (including spider monkeys, howler monkeys, toucans, parrots, and many more!). Highly recommend this agency and this tour!

Used the company for a shuttle to Belize and a tour to Tikal.
Tikal tour was great, very slightly cheaper than other agencies. The guide was very interesting and let us explore some parts on our own, great combination.
Shuttle went well, bags were put inside. Good experience.

A friend of ours recommended Mayan World. We had a really great time going to explore the temples in Tikal. On the bus already we got a lot of information to know beforehand (by English and Spanish speaking guide, Ruben). We had a lot of fun seeing all the beautiful sights and Ruben was a very fun guide with a lot of information and ready to answer all your questions. Even decided on the trip to visit an extra place (Yaxha) for sunset, they were all up for it and took us to a great place to eat some local fish. Great way to get an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it!

Best travel agency I've had so far. Fair prices (cheaper than in the hostels) and amazing service. We went from Flores to Antigua, they even offered a taxi service to bring you from your hostel to the bus station in Flores, and when the bus dropped us in Guatemala city, the next shuttle was already waiting to bring us to Antigua. Also really nice people working there who can give you some local tips as well. Really recommend this place!

I booked a shuttle online but unfortunately there must have happened a mistake and I ended up being forgotten and not picked up at 4am. Especially because it was so early in the morning it was really unpleasant, but the agency and Manuel in particular, did everything they could, to still bring me from Antigua to Flores the same day.
A wonderful lady drove me 2 hours with her private car to Guatemala City, and there they had organised a coach for me.
All in all, my trip took 18 hours instead of 10, but mistakes happen and the way everyone dealed with it, was just soooooo nice!
I totally recommend this very professional agency. Thanks to everyone who was involved!

Manuel is a great manager of this agency. We booked two shuttles and the tikal tour. The price of the combination is quite good. Good communication / Support / Booking via WhatsApp.

We had a Yaxha/ Tikal tour with Mayan world and it was excellent. I have visited Tikal previously and this revisit was just as good due to interesting facts from our Guide Samuel.

We then booked transport to Livingstone and it was just as good. Clean and well maintained Toyota Coaster bus.

Also l'd like to mention they took the Covid prevention seriously.

The staff member there was very friendly and professional and got us a shuttle ticket from Flores to Lanquin for the next day. The cost was 200 GTQ per person. Perfect!
