Great store, full of excellent clothes made by Ghanaian designers, I recommend!

Let's be clear, everyone can see from my name that I'm clearly not Ghanaian, I'm Japanese/Taiwanese. And yet, despite.... DESPITE not having enough body for the clothes at this store, Constance (my favourite saleswoman at Lokko House), put me in an outfit so gorgeous and so fitting that I now believe in hell because my friends, in that fit I look like my body was made for sin.

Dramatics aside, Constance is an indispensable element of the store. I, being an Asian city girl, initially picked out a black and white ensemble, cute but pedestrian and overdone. Then, Constance eyes me up and down, whisks a matching colourful set from the racks, and hands it to me. All she said was, ‘trust me’, so I did. Regardless of the subjective beauty of the outfit she handed me, I have never met someone with such a keen eye for body shape, fashion, and personal style/vibes, all while having the most beautiful heart. Everything after that she helped me with was on point, again and again. Whilst I may have left the store with some X amount of credit card debt, it was worth it to have met someone who made me believe that I COULD and SHOULD wear xyz, if not for fashion, then for myself.

Stylists, art directors, fashion industry specialists, and anyone who cares about the intersection of aesthetics and emotion - keep your eyes on Constance, cause she is not to be missed.

Recently got to stock my WARDO TENGO. brand with them. They're a popular urban fashion shop in Accra. I also celebrated with them on their 15th Anniversary. It was superb to be a part of that. The staff are splendid and quite passionate. I look forward to more business with them.

First place I've found local cocoa! Professionally packaged too. Also purchased African black soap as a gift, excited to see what it's like. They also have interesting clothing, jewellery and bags.
