Belgha Bar and Hostel

I really enjoyed my stay. Would recommend it. Location is ideal to visit Mole Park. Staff is the best. Room very comfortable at a good price. The best fufu I ate since I am
in Ghana. Restaurant and bar. Everything to have a good stay.

I had a great stay at Belgha Bar and Hostel. The rooms are clean and well kept, but the highlight is very warm and friendly staff, who were also extremely helpful in organising things such as local transport. The food is also delicious. If you want an authentic experience when visiting Mole, I would definitely recommend Belgha.

The hostel is an amazing place to explore the area, especially the National Park. I chose to stay here instead of Mole Motel for pricing reasons, and I am so happy that I decided that way! For a really great price I stayed in a large room which I had to myself and got a delicious big homemade scrambled egg breakfast. But I would say the best thing is that Emmanuel, the manager, makes you feel personally welcome and does everything to ensure your stay will be a lovely experience. He kindly helped me planning my activities in the area, and with his own experience he could recommend the best things to see. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and had time to chat and even joined me on the safari.

I had a wonderful 3 nights at Belgha Bar and Hostel. I was able to either taxi or walk into Mole National Park-- and it was within walking distance of the mosque. The guest house had a strong internet connection and warm showers. I had an entire room to myself and the homecooked meals were delicious and greatly appreciated.

What a wonderful week we had at the Belgha Hostel, thanks to Emmanuel ! The perfect place to meet local people, eat wonderful food and be surrounded by only savannah. Special shout out to their driver Ahmed who made us live the craziest experiences all around the region in his Ghana-car. Will come back for sure !!

Warm and welcoming stay almost inside the Mole national park. Super good food, freshly made according to your desires. With the host Emmanuel always being there for you. For me definitely the more authentic, cheaper and better alternative to the Mole Hostel.

We enjoyed our stay here! The staff is very friendly. We had our own driver who took us everywhere and picked us up. When we had questions, Emmanuel always knew how he could help us. The hostel is in a lovely location, right next to the mole park. the food was also very tasty. The hostel is definitely recommended.

A beautiful place to stay a few nights, lots of safaris and sights around and such lovely staff. Also the price performance ratio is really good! Even breakfast is included. Totally recommend!

Fantastic place with kind people. Delicious meals and you get help with everything you need. Suited well for people who don't want to pay for the mole motel and look for a not so touristic place to stay.

We stayed for three nights to visit the mole nationalpark. It was a really nice stay and Emmanuel (the host) was super friendly and helpfull. He could explain a lot about the possible activities (also besides Mole).
Additionally it was really budget friendly.

The past week I've visited for the third time in 4 years. Nice quiet and clean place to relax. The service is always excellent and I've enjoyed the good food and drinks once again. Definitely a recommendation on my end. See you next year!

Great Place to stay when visiting Mole National Park! It offers two rooms with six beds each for 250 Cedi per room. Every room has a toilet, two showers and Air Conditioning. It was very clean and the building was structurally sound in comparison two other houses in Ghana. Breakfast (Bread with egg and hot drinks) is included. The very welcoming staff can prepare dinner for you, vegetarian options are pretty tasty! They also organized transport and a trip to the eco village and the mosque for us.

In total a beautiful and affordable alternative to Mole Motel.

The better alternative to the Mole motel. We stayed in the Belgha Hostel for two nights and had the best experience. The room was big and comfortable (you can lodge with up to six guests, for a very affordable price). Good food in the morning and evening and an amazing service throughout the whole stay. Shoutout to the boys touring with us to the ecovillage, Thanks guys.

Great hostel next to Mole National Park. Run by the friendliest staff! Would recommend.

We stayed as a group of six people for one night at Daniel’s and his girlfriends authentic and comfortable Belgha Hostel. We chose this hostel as a cheaper alternative to the Mole Motel and we made the right choice: nice and clean beds, delicious and free breakfast and most importantly easy access to the National Park (by Daniel driving us there at any time we wished to, as well as a pick-up from the Fulfoso junction). We really enjoyed our stay as there were no other tourists and every single one of Daniel’s staff and friends were really kind and sweet and made our stay comfortable, relaxing and a unique experience. We can definitely recommend their lovely stay to explore the Mole National Park.

We stayed at Belgha for a couple of days in February while we were visiting Mole NP. We had a nice and confortable room with AC and fan. The staff working there make their possible to help you and make their best ensure you enjoy the park. We had the chance to borrow the car to get to the early morning tour in the park.They provided us breakfast and delicious local food for dinner.
All that for a fraction of the price you would pay at the Mole motel.
We also had the chance to meet the friendly belgian ghanaian owners. Daniel was actually raised in Mole village and knows pretty much the area and everybody working at the park.
If you need to go to Kumasi after visiting the park, I would recommend to go to the Fulfoso junction for not having to go back to Tamale but make sure you book a seat on a VIP bus considering all the trotros and buses leave Tamale only when they are full. There is plenty of VIP buses passing by the Fulfoso junction between 17:00- 19:00. I'm talking from experience. We stood in the sun at the junction for about 7 hours trying our luck and finally had to book a seat by phone with a VIP bus company.
I highly recommend Belgha for your trip in Mole.

Nice place to stay near the Mole Park with friendly hosts. The food was also really good.

Nice hostel near the mole park. Daniel, the owner of the Hostel, is extremely empathic and is willing to help a lot. The rooms are pretty nice the only negative aspect is that the ac didn’t work, but Daniel is going to fix this definitely. If you want to party beside visiting the mole Nationalpark, the hostel has a lot to offer.
Would recommend this accommodation to my friends!

Room is very clean and hostel located super close to Mole park.
There's always somebody at the place and they can take you to and from the park at any time.

People working there are extremely friendly. Overall, I would recommend staying at this place versus Mole Hostel.
