Rippels Lodge

A very special Place. We were warmly welcomed by the host on our arrival. The small lodges are extremely well equipped and perfectly cooled. The amazing staff made you feel like part of the family in this small very green complex. Unique service unique atmosphere. The beach is a five-minute walk from the lodge. We will definitely come back. A visit is worthwhile in any case.

Ripples lodge has a very serene environment. A great place to relax and rejuvenate. The booking was inclusive of dinner which was good. The food really tasted good. The staff were courteous and helpful.

We shared a lovely weekend away for my wife’s birthday. The peacefulness and charm was simply magical. No kids was a nice element. The menu was good and the Indian cuisine was delicious. If I had to change one thing, I’d ask for a ceiling fan in the sleeping area. The proximity to the ocean was pleasant, and the breeze was so relaxing. Highly recommend! If you plan to visit, have a reliable means to internet, either with a personal mifi puck or good cell service.

Very serene location and close to the beach. I loved my weeklong stay there. It's the kind of place you go to when you want to move away from the noise and pollution of the city. The staff are very helpful and smile all the time. The owners (lovely German couple) are also very nice folks. The food and juices are freshly made and very healthy. The place is 100% solar powered with lots of greenry beautifying it. I'd love to go back with friends for a weekend getaway sometime soon.

Very clean facility. Atmosphere is serene. A real home away from home. A few restrictive rules, but generally ok. Oh I forgot, you must be an ant lover.

Pros:
Hidden Gem awaiting your presence. From the welcome to good bye, everything was perfect. The owners were very accommodating. The rooms are 5-Star, food made from scratch from local farmers so every is organic. The staff are the most humble and polite people I’ve ever met. The pool is simply lovely. The views of the mountains and sea are breathtaking. The room has beach/pool towels, an international converter, hot water and air conditioning. I’ve been to over 40 countries, stayed in many lodges & hotels and in his is one of my top 3. it’s an unforgettable experience.

Cons:
The lodge is very remote (2hrs) from Accra. Make sure to rent a car and drive because none of the taxi or uber drivers wanted to make the trip. We had to pay the uber 600gh (rdtrp) even tho we were only going 1 way. Hopefully next time they’ll be an airport or round trip transportation available.

Die Loge hat eine sagenhafte Lage. Man genießt eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die sanften Hügel, die grüne Ebene und das herrliche Meer. Die Loge ist wunderbar in die Landschaft eingefügt - verschmilzt förmlich mit ihr. Die Anlage ist in einem hervorragenden Zustand und toll angelegt. Ein Paradies!
