It gives one opportunity to appreciate nature. Not far from the city centre. No parking problem. Close to Akosombo, which adds another layer to your experience. Don't allow the city life to weigh you down. Get out and visit the place to cool off.

The museum has a lot of history about animals, archaeology etc. It also has a library where books such as history, archaeology and other books are kept. They sell some of the books and beads as well there. The beads are sold at 30ghc, 50ghc and 80ghc respectively. The images they have there are amazing plus the skins of the animals are very organic and real.

Had an Amazing experience at the Shai nature reserve, be sure to wear comfortable light sneakers/ shoes if you plan on climbing, our guide was respectful, patient, and very knowledgeable, a backpack with water, sunshade recommended, Highly recommend would love to visit again
