The Winford Boutique Hotel Achimota

I had such a wonderful stay at the Winford. All the staff were so lovely and caring and couldn’t do much more for me. The pool was lovely and clean after travelling and breakfast was yummy. The airport transfers were easy and reliable and I felt at ease the whole time I was there. I was only there one day passing through the city but I would have happily stayed longer and would definitely stay there again if going back to Accra. Can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. The owner has had the hotel for just 2 months so I would take that into consideration when reading older reviews.

Clean, friendly, and great!

Great service. Beautiful rooms. Air conditioning and wifi. Very economical and good safe neighborhood. I am a single woman traveling alone for the first time to Africa. They made my experience a good one. They even hooked me up with a driver who served as a tour guide who had an air conditioned car.

I really enjoyed staying here. The place looks clean and neat with hardworking and responsive staff available at all times. I can’t forget about the boiled plantain and kontomire stew with Avocado and Koobi and others. The cooks can go to the extend of preparing your favorite meal. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent place to stay in Accra-Ghana. 🔥🔥🔥😍

Modern room, extremely comfortable mattress, very clean, nicely decorated room with very good air conditioning, great hot water system with modern rain shower head fixtures and high quality clean towels and liquid soaps. Bathroom was clean and neat refrigerator stocked with an assortment of beverages and premium TV channels on a big screen TV. I have diabetes and hypertension and his staff prepared my meals perfectly without ingredients that cause health issues for me. My brother was visiting from the USA and he was impressed with the neat clean well appointed rooms and the rooftop lounge. Mr. Osei delivered quality service through out our stay and his staff was so friendly and hospitable that I can say I was treated like family! Everyone was nice and friendly professional and courteous. The highest level of comfort, quality and service at a very affordable price for this level of accommodation! Balconies and rooftop lounge were very relaxing and the restaurant was great with made to order high quality reasonably priced meals. We really enjoyed our stay and found it difficult to check out because we were treated like family and enjoyed everything and didn't want to leave. We it was certainly a taste of heaven in Ghana 🇬🇭! Thanks to Mr. Osei and staff Adlid, Ernestina, and Derek we were warmly greeted upon check in and we really had a wonderful time and would certainly come back again with the entire family!

A 5-star rated service from arrival to departure. Worth every penny with rooms very spacious, beds very very comfy and the best part is THE FOOD made by Aunty Adelaide and the ladies at the restaurant not forgetting the ever helping security man also. There is constant supply of water and electricity and daily room cleaning service is offered daily. This place is really a home away from home. Thank you Mr Osei and your team for your selfless and reliable service. Will surely be visiting again.
