Afia Tours Ghana

Afia tours was a great choice for our trip to Ghana. Petra was on top of all the details. I feel this tour gave us the best of Ghana. We our driver Emanuel is an excellent driver he was very patient and informative. Our traditional meal with Vera was awesome! I highly recommend Afia tours.

We spent 5 days with Afia touring the Volta Region and Cape Coast. Petra helped us create a custom itinerary that matched our interests and Emmanuel was a fantastic driver and guide.

I spent 7 life-changing days with Afia tours. Appiah was very patient and flexible with our group. He was very knowledgeable of the people, history and culture. He was open to share his personal experience. Their local partners had vast knowledge and insight. We had all the experiences for a return to Ghana. Then to learn they give a portion of profits to build a school in a village was exceptional.The company over, Enoch even made time for us. I would highly recommend Afia and Appiah without reservation. The Back to the Roots Ghana tour exceeded my expectations.

Our Afia driver, Eric Manu, is the best! He is a skilled and competent driver, patient and accommodating with every request. The vehicle also is reliable, with enough space for our luggage and a pile of books to be hauled to schools in the north. This company is easy to deal with and helpful. We were not hiring a tour guide, just a vehicle and driver, but they were willing to make suggestions regarding accommodation and to give advice on possible routes and sites to visit. I have complete confidence in Afia and in their drivers and cannot recommend them enough.

Our family group of 11 had a great 10-day trip with Afia Tours! We saw a LOT of Ghana and brought home a lot of memories. Afia's guides and drivers were top-notch and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend and repeat.

With the help of Petra at Afia Tours, we prepared a DIY itinerary which met our specific sight seeing and accommodation requirements. We covered a lot of ground in 10 days with our accommodating driver/companion, Emmanuel, who was reliable and courteous throughout our trip. This was all organised and paid for over the internet and via phone and just to assure us of the legitimacy of our transaction, Enock, the owner of Afia Tours, met us at our hotel at 6am to greet us and introduce us to Emmanuel. We had no regrets working with Afia Tours.

The team at Afia Tours flawlessly planned and executed our tour of Ghana, Togo and Benin in November 2019. Petra was proactive and responsive in the planning process. Our guide Micheal Opoku Frempong is the best of the best. He is knowledgeable, flexible, efficient, a great driver, and we became great friends. If you want the best tour team in West Africa, you want Afia Tours. Highly recommended!

we spent 2 weeks travelling trough ghana with afia tours this february! it was such a awesom tour!we enjoyed every bit of it! petra organised the tour just perfectly for us. she answered quickly and planned a family tour so that my two kids which were 7 and 5 years old could enjoy it as much as we did! the car we travelled around was in good condition and our tourguide, michael, drove very carefully. he new all the places, had friends everywhere, all was planned very well so we never had to wait for something(apart from the food in the restaurants😀). he was always as punctualy as we swiss people are.😉 and me alone with the kids felt always safe and in good company! we were very happy to also meet enock, the funder of the company!he worked hard to run the best tourcompany in ghana! i can defenitly recommend this company 900%!!😍

Thank you to all at Afia tours for a wonderful experience of Ghana. All tour guides were experienced, knowledgable and friendly being sure to make us have a great time. The only thing we regret is not staying longer.
