The horse ride was fantastic! My friend was riding for the first time and Georgina our horse was gracious. It was a bit pricey to be honest, but the ride was worth it

The beach comes alive at night and nothing was more thrilling than the double side - the loud partying music on the one end and nothing but the waves and water and fishermen on the other.

Different tastes as we go through the hours of the day. More family like in the morning then later becomes more like open air pubs. Prices are quite manageable as you enjoy drinking, eating and swimming

Labadi Beach, located in the heart of Accra, is a picturesque oasis. The first thing to note is the entrance fee of 20 Cedis, a small price to pay for the scenic splendor that awaits you.

Once inside, the beach offers an immediate sense of tranquility. The azure waters contrasted with white sands provide a breathtaking view, with the higher tides producing majestic, frothy waves that are a sight to behold. This makes it a paradise for photographers, professional and amateur alike, offering countless moments worthy of capturing.

One of the unique features of Labadi Beach is the lively marketplace. The vendors here offer a wide range of trinkets and souvenirs, giving you a chance to bring a piece of Labadi back home. From vibrant African print fabrics to intricately carved wooden figurines, there's something to suit every taste.

However, with the beach's popularity comes its biggest drawback. During public holidays and weekends, Labadi Beach can become quite crowded, making it less peaceful for those who seek solitude in the seashore's calm. But if you enjoy vibrant energy and getting to meet new people, these busy times can provide a unique and authentic Ghanaian experience.

In conclusion, Labadi Beach, with its stunning views, exciting marketplace, and lively atmosphere, offers a unique experience for locals and tourists alike. The 20 Cedi entrance fee is a small cost for the unforgettable memories you will undoubtedly create here.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Labadi Beach during my trip to Ghana, and it was indeed a delightful experience. The beach's natural beauty, lively atmosphere, and vibrant culture make it a must-visit destination in Accra.

Labadi Beach is known for its stunning shoreline, and the waves gently caressing the sandy shore offer a tranquil setting to unwind. It's a fantastic spot to relax, soak up the sun, or take a leisurely stroll along the coastline. The beach is well-maintained, and the clean surroundings add to its charm.

However, one thing to note is the access fee, which was 20 Ghana Cedis per person. While the fee might seem a bit steep, I found it reasonable considering the overall experience and amenities available at the beach.

On the downside, I did notice that the food and beverages offered at the eateries within the beach area were priced on the higher side compared to what you'd find outside. If you're on a budget, you might want to consider eating elsewhere before or after your visit. However, the convenience of having dining options right on the beach can be quite tempting.

Despite the pricing, the local dishes I tried were delicious and offered a taste of authentic Ghanaian cuisine. I recommend trying some of the grilled seafood options; they were absolutely mouthwatering.

One thing that stood out to me was the lively atmosphere at Labadi Beach. On weekends, it's a hub of activity with live music, dance performances, and vendors selling local crafts. It's a great place to immerse yourself in Ghana's culture and connect with the locals.

Overall, Labadi Beach is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Ghana's coastline. While some aspects may be a bit pricey, the experience and cultural richness make it well worth a visit. Don't forget your sunscreen, hat, a good book, and a sense of adventure when you head to this beautiful beach!

I went during the day and Had a nice and relaxing day. There are few activities to do eg horse riding, you could play games if you are with a group

Numerous people try to convince you to buy things like art work, souvenirs, beads etc that’s up to you and your budget to decide.

There are drinks and food for sale, a little more expensive than usual so you can bring snacks, food and drink from home if you don’t want to buy at the beach

Entry fee is 10 cedis.

I came to spread my Son's ashes in the ocean here. I experienced much more. Sadness but happiness followed. The water was warm and sky was brilliant. I also met Mr Wonder a horse 🐎 that was very gentle and loving. Thank you I really appreciated my time there

Labadi beach is a popular water tourist site in the heart of Accra, Ghana. There are lots of people here from different parts of the world. One of the most interesting attraction for me was the man who makes sand sculptures. I had to tip him for a great job. There's a horse ride, all terrain vehicle for rent and all types of drinks too - the beers taste good too. The hot barbecue, coconut and food. It was fun getting my feet wet and getting under the canopy to watch a live performance. There's a car park and restroom here. Wheelchair access but the sands could pose a little challenge though. If you are in Accra, do find time to visit here.

The Accra coastline is dotted with many public beaches, castles and forts. All these beautiful public spaces offer access to the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the shore. Labadi Beach, however, is unique among these for its range of dynamic beachside activities. It offers a great urban beach experience, with a clean beachfront, good food and music and new friends just around the corner. A beautiful, amazing beech is it.  It is the most popular beach in Ghana, with a spacious shoreline lined with sparse coconut trees and plenty of activities on offer.
it is usually filled on Fridays and Saturdays, however, on weekdays you can enjoy a quiet environment perfect for reading or reflection. You can also go on horseback rides along the water for a very small fee.
During my stay in Ghana few times i visited this attractive and amazing beech.
Evenings are very charming here. I really enjoyed this.
I suggest you guys visit this beech.
All the best

I’m naturally a water person so on this faithful day while exploring Ghana 🇬🇭 I went to Labadi Beach with my friend it reminded me so much of Lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬. The cocktail was good the water had some seaweeds which is normal I bought waist beads and a swim wear.

It's one of the places you won't love to miss as a tourist in Ghana. Especially the breeze and night view.

A family picnic at Labadi beach is an experience that won't leave your memory in a while.
