It's been exactly 5 years since I trained with this cake school. As a novice in the business, I learnt how to bake and decorate from scratch. It was a tough training because you have to do it by yourself. Before I could even finish, I had my first order for a wedding cake and with her guidance, I was able to make it. I mean this was even before the final project we had.. As an expert in the field now,I look back and wouldn't have had it any other way...

I recently had the pleasure of attending a cake affairs, and I can honestly say it was an incredible experience. Cake Affairs Gh formally known as Bakes and Taste had been one of the best cake training school in Ghana. I had been to other cake schools in Accra and I can proudly say that this is the best among them. I went to Bakes and tastes in 2017 or 2018. I called Madam Marian for directions and she was soo kind to even come pick me up when I got to the bus stop. I remember we paid only 1000gh as fees which ingredients was inclusive whilst other schools were charging over 3000gh. I didn't pay or buy anything again until I completed. Her assistants are never rude to any student. A hamper which contained startup tools for beginner was also given at the end of the course. She has been my mentor since I completed till now. I am now my own boss. I have my own shop and trains others as well all thanks to Cake Affairs Gh. This school never sells anything to her students till now. Anyone who will give a bad review about this school obviously has a question mark.... Long live Cake Affairs Gh.....

It's obvious this review is from a competitor or someone who is bitter about the success of your training centre. I am a proud old student from 2019 when studio A was the only class, and I received free ingredients from the school. The school provided most of the tools including free brand new hand mixer, as a take home gift after training and we also bought some tools ourselves. I was made aware during my enquiries. I think it was in October 2019 that the school ended the free hand mixer takee home gift promo and myself as well as many who got that free hand mixer are still using it. Every catering student one way or the other buys one or 2 things like cake board, cake boxes to pack your cakes home as well as other things like flowers, to beautify your own cake and it's a normal thing in catering schools. The school never sells to students. We are even given the liberty to buy outside, so what's all this?
