Very nice scenery, , good parking space. I came to eat and not sleep so can't review the rooms, Very tasty food however the menu is hard to read and can be improved.

Overall, a very lovely stay at this northern Ghanian hotel. Certainly the best you will get in the region.

Rooms were spacious without being ridiculously large. Modern and clean. The gardens are what make this such a wonderful hotel. You feel like you are in a little slice of tropical beauty. Service is a bit slow, but friendly.

Let up the good work.

Still the best in Upper East Region

Very nice place and comfortable also. Good for business and other leisure trips here at Bolgatanga. Close to the road side for easy accessible to public transport.

It has nice restaurant for good African and continental dishes. The atmosphere is very Serene.
The hotel has a big swimming pool open to the public also, where families can have fun, a playing soccer field and a tennis court available. Gym for aerobics and a number of conference rooms all available.

Located on the main Bolgatanga- Page highway, this luxurious hotel is a perfect place if you are looking for somewhere quiet to relax. The food from the restaurant was good. The environment is very cozy and this might be among the best you could find in this region.
They do have a spacious car park, swimming pool, tennis court and other amenities. The place was generally clean.

A lovely place away from home when in the upper east region. Their rates is affordable, rooms lovely , food very delicious. Their staff are well trained with their manager Emmanuel very hospitable. They also have a forex bureau on site with competitive rates. They accept all Visa cards. You should visit the place.

Great facility. Everything is on point. Had lunch there and the food was great but a bit pricey.

i went back there recently (March 2022) and all is not well with the room services. my bed was not properly attended to. the room service attendant come in without stretching the sheets tuck the duvet in with crumpled sheet under it.

there wasn't enough lighting in the room for reading. the bedside lamp placed on the study table didn't provide sufficient light for reading.

the woolen carpet in the corridor never get vacuumed for the 5 days that i was there.

however, the breakfast is still great.

Top class environment, better reception behavior and the services they offer, trust me, is an out of imagination experience. Beautiful people and also the security teams are well coordinated. They're brightening the upper east region.

Akayet hotel, the place is beautiful.
It Was my first time in Bolgatanga, and thus my first time at the akayet hotel.
Prio, I've heard about the place, and being there myself, I get why there's some hype about the place.
It's every bit up to the hype it receives.

It's really a nice place, serene, very accommodating staff. I mean their services are very satisfactory.
Next time you're in the Bolga, do well to pass by and feel for yourself, hahaha...
I wasn't paid to do this, just my honest review like I always do.

A few things they have just incase you wanna know, but first I have to say that where it's located is just perfect, I think.
I mean I don't live in Bolga but arriving and time we use to get there, I feel it's just perfect, not too far from the central town, also close enough to access, so yeah, makes for a perfect location if you ask me.
Now about the things they have, there's a tennis court, quite standard, not that I know how a standard tennis court looks like given I'm not a tennis expect, but it does look it.
A football pitch, a swimming pool, in fact they have what you would expect a high standard hotel should have.
What I saw was enough for me to rate it 5 stars.

Akayet presents a warm and refreshing experience. It has virtually every amenity which makes a good stay outside one's comfort zone. For the period I stayed there, I enjoyed every moment. I was particularly awed by the greenery and the taste of their food. The hotel has excellent staff whi are always willing to serve and go the extra mile. My downside was how they keep their swimming pool. I was particularly unimpressed with allowing non-staying guests to come in to use facilities such as the swimming pool in a manner that disturb the peace in the hotel. Management may want to check this if they want to maintain high standards and appeal to high-end customers. But on a whole, Akayet is a great place.

This is by far one of the finest (if not the finest) hotels I have visited in Upper East Region of Ghana. Great service, good discounts, modern facilities, good security and a place you'll want to visit again after your first. A top class hotel for everyone

The best there is in the three Northern Regions. Wonderful swimming pool, A tennis court, a bar, a serene environment with surround sound speakers to match. Washroom with latest technological systems.

Customer Services need more improvement

It's breath taking considering the fact that it is situated in one of the most thought of poor regions in Ghana, it defies inaccurate media reportage about the region and invites your senses to make love with the serene environment which promotes healing of the body and soul
Make a stop there and you wont wanna leave.

This place is the BEST in the Northern sector of Ghana and definitely one of the best in Africa. The infrastructure is impeccable, well-designed and structured. The food is just on point. I tried their spaghetti bolognaise which is very affordable and tastes heavenly and homey. The waiters and waitresses are well-trained and very welcoming. Room service is just on point. There is a football field, tennis court, great swimming pool etc. You cannot visit Ghana (esp. Upper East region ) without passing through. it's indeed the best among the rest
