Achimota Forest

The kind of open closest you'd want to connect to Lord. The atmosphere is super conducive for prayers and location is great. Ease of access to vehicle to major parts of Accra.

Well maintained now than some years back. I will recommend this place for Christian retreat, personal and group prayer events etc.

There's however a gate fee which is not much and also to use a particular space as a group/church you will have to pay a token.

You'd also need to rent your own chairs there at a small fee and take them back when done.

Nice place for tourists..a resting and a place for meditation and quiet time with the lord. It also serves as a good place for prayers and fellowship with the lord.

Nice place but much more can be done to develope the place and create new activities and experiences

They had a variety of animals ranging from Lion/ lioness, different breeds of monkeys, tortoise, Imu, Ostrich, snakes.
The forest also doubled as a prayer ground to so many churches

Houses the Accra zoo. Take your school kids there for excursion. Interesting animals to see

It’s a wonderful place where you can learn and appreciate the incredible diversity of animals and nature

Nice reception by the attendants , environment and the rooms are all well kept and nice meals too.

A great and cozy atmosphere to observe and enjoy nature. A place for quite time and prayers

More animals are being added anytime I visit there... you should be ready to go on a small hike when going around to see the animals😂

The stations are well organized with available security to check every station at the time of closure. I learnt there's a zoo where people visit for pleasure.
