If you are in Accra, then Asanka local is the ultimate place where to get the best of local foods at good price.

You have here all the local foods, chicken, fish , goat, bush meat.

Staff are welcoming and very professional

You can enjoy your foods while drinking a locally made juice or drink beer or wine of your choice

On the wall you have part of the Ghana history in images.

But there is no AC and they close so early at 5pm

I strongly advice this spot for local foods.

Very simple restaurant with tasty meals. The servers were polite and recommended the best food options for foreigners. You should visit!!!

Car park has a dedicated helper to assist in parking. Variety of meat is sometimes lacking but for a quick bite it works. Food comes quite quickly even at peak patronage. Though no air-conditioning the temperature is good like a chop bar vibe with fans available on request. Advices to order food and drinks together so that drinks comes faster.

Actually that was my very first time of going there for lunch and that was spectacular ☺
They take both e-cash and physical cash, there's a bar for drinks
You can also watch football match there , enough space for dinning
They're orders too doesn't keep long to come

The non spicy is a little spicy.

They have generous servings and professional waitresses. Highly recommended. I had kokontey and grilled tilapia with groundnut soup

The place look serene and very neat, was a nice experience eating there

Visited last Thursday for lunch. First off place felt very welcoming. Good service. Banku and tilapia for and my friend had banku and goat soup. Arrived within minutes. We also ordered Chinese style takeaway delivered later in the evening.

What can I say excellent place, food and service. Oh yes also very good value for money.

Going back soon.

A chop bar that actually cares for its presentation, Asanka Local was a breath of fresh air to me. I particularly enjoyed the speed at which our order was processed and the caring nature of the staff. If I were to refer anyone to a quick spot to enjoy some fufu with light soup, this would be it

Enjoyed the fufu. Nice soup with enough dose of pepper just the way I wanted it

Very neat. Friendly waiters. Beautiful environment. Delicious dishes. Ate fufu and tilapia. My friends from America ate jollof rice and fried red fish. They really enjoyed the food
