Ghana Car Rentals did a great job setting us up with a driver, and ensuring that everything (child car seat, airport transfer, etc) were all in order when we arrived. The driver was excellent, and made the trip much easier to manage. Especially for those traveling for business I would highly recommend Ghana Car Rentals.

We had an amazing experience with Ghana car rental and Kwame as our driver. He took extremely good care of us. Not only did he adjust his driving to the conditions and made our journey stress free and relaxing, but he was an excellent guide and had reflected a lot on societal matters and conditions in Ghana. We had some wonderful and rewarding conversations during our three days. He also respected when we wanted it quiet - and it all felt as a natural balance.

On top he was very flexible with the itinerary.

We booked a car and driver for 12 days from Germany with Ghana Car Rentals. The communication in advance went smoothly. The driver arrived on time and the car was in perfect condition.

Ghana Car Rentals provided top notch services; from the first point of contact, months prior to my trip, to the airport drop off, for my return home. They were very responsive to my emails, months prior to my group trip, and kindly answered several questions. The driver assigned to my group was great! He was maneuvered through the traffic and rough road conditions, very well. Lastly, our van was very comfortable. My group of 10 rented the 24-passenger van, which was perfect for our group size and luggage.

This company was perfect! The cost was the most affordable of all the car companies we explored in Accra. Melvin helped my team adjust our schedules on short notice, ensured we had the right paperwork, and provided a clean and spacious vehicle for us to travel in. We were a family travel group with varying compositions, each consisting of 7-11 participants, and we had booked a 12-seater vehicle. The car was in excellent condition, clean, and very well-maintained.

With Mensah, we had arguably the best driver in all of Ghana and possibly in the whole of Africa! We felt very safe at all times, and Mensah proved to be an integral part of the travel group during these 8 days. We gained a lot of insight into the lives of Ghanaians through him, as well as highly interesting perspectives. Mensah was always available, consistently punctual, and even excelled during longer journeys and outside of regular operating hours! It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to meet him and spend time with him! We would gladly do it again, and hopefully very soon.

We rented a small van with driver for 5 days. The vehicle was clean and perfectly functioning. The driver Paul was very kind and excellent driver. We recommend it!

We had an amazing experience with Ghana car rentals. If you are getting around in Ghana you absolutely need a trusted car service with reputable drivers. Our driver Paul ensured that we got to each location safely. We were there for a week and had a full itinerary. Paul was at the hotel every time we needed him and he was so easy to communicate with. I can’t say enough positive things about how great he was. Driving in Accra is absolutely a skill and there’s not better driver than Paul. Our vehicle was always clean and rode smooth. So glad that we booked with you all and thank you Paul for a great trip!

Great experience! The driver received me from the airport and was professional and punctual. The car was as described and cleaned every day, sometimes during the day. Would highly recommend this company for foreign visitors.

Very good service, I felt save in the car, a good price and so easy to make the appointment. It felt as een luxury to have a personal driver, but it was very helpful with the police (they are everywhere) people who want something from you, give or not give tips, to ask the way and so on. I was a bit afraid for my privacy, but the driver can be ‘invisible’ or do everything with you and all in between. Up to you. So that was fine also. We did along the way, a bit more together, but thats personal. Glade we made this dicision. Thank you Melvin and Enok!

We traveled 3 weeks in Ghana with a comfortable 4WD car and with the driver Selassie, both provided by Ghana Car rentals. Selassie was a very reliable and careful driver and he provided us with insight in life and society in Ghana. We would choose Ghana Car Rentals again.

We hired a driver for five days while we were in Ghana. Our driver was Kwame. He was excellent. He did a great job navigating very difficult roads and he was able to answer all of our questions on the culture of Ghana. I highly recommend Kwame!

We had an excellent two days with our driver, Kyeremeh for our trips to Elmina, Cape Coast, Kakum and to the Volta region as well as Boti Falls and Aburi Botanical gardens. 4WD we hired was air conditioned and comfortable for those bumpy roads around Ghana.
Our driver was super helpful, patient and informative about the parts of Ghana we visited and we really would like you to pass on our thanks for your excellent services. We will certainly use Ghana Car Rentals again and would love to have Kyeremeh as our driver again.

From booking with Melvin to our two day van rental with our drivers David and Nicholas, the whole experience was a 10/10…and I don’t think I was the easiest client to work with. I started off extremely indecisive about what I needed and where our family wanted to go, but Melvin helped me narrow it down and made sure they were extremely flexible. Our trip to Aubri Gardens and Aqua Safari in Ada we’re really comfortable. Not to mention they took us to all of various stops we requested with no problem! If you’re in need of a rental with a driver, look no further.

We hired a 4x4 vehicle with Ghana Car Rentals last week as a family of 4 for a long journey. The vehicle and its driver are very reasonably priced. From the initial enquiry and throughout the order process, communication was exceptional thanks to Melvin. On the day, the driver arrived very much in good time. He was friendly, courteous, patient and professional. Our long journey felt extremely safe and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our outing thanks to the excellent service from the company.
