Kwae Terrace

Kwae Terrace is located on the last floor of Volta Place. They have good food, though the menu has few options to choose from. I have enjoyed every food I’ve eaten there ranging from the prawns/shrimp skewers to salads. I particularly like their grouper steak and herb rice. The place is spacious, serene and never too crowded.
There is a backdrop located in the open area for photo lovers.
Try their sugarcane fizz and let me know what you think 😉.
Enjoy the view from the roof top adjacent the restaurant.

Kwae Terrace has a beautiful atmosphere to dine in, to study or to work... The music was not loud, decoration was very charming (good background for the virtual meetings).

The food and drinks menus were also good and focused, not messy. Prices are reasonable compared to similar places. We liked Kwae Terrace a lot and would definitely recommend to others.

Also loved the drinks coasters that mentions/show our tourists sites.

Only pet peeve was the kind waitress assuming I knew how to scan for their menu 😒 . ( That was quickly resolved after I drew her attention).

How to: Go to Google click on the camera icon then scan the bar code, follow through from there.

Since I'd be going back 😄will ask if there are other ways to scan.

I’m a big fan of Cafe Kwae, so it was only right to try Kwae Terrace’s breakfast.
Very cute spot to work from, or just chill, with a balcony, allowing outdoor seating. They sell books of various kinds as well.

My favorite things were the mushrooms and potatoes on the Terrace Breakfast.

The hummus and ground beef dish was tasty as well. Could’ve done with more pita as the pita runs out quicker than the hummus

The French toast was such a treat! Moist and sweet.

The carrot cake ice tea has cinnamon notes which I loved, and was not too sweet, allowing you to savor the carrot cake taste.

The sugarcane lime fizz was tasty, but could’ve been slightly more fizzy.

Overall a very filling breakfast and service was great as well.

Had a lovely brunch here today! The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. The French toast was delicious! The pork chops were nicely seasoned, a bit too chewy though. I absolutely loved the ambience of the place with the indoor and outdoor seating. Decorated with simplicity and creativity. First time here today but I'll definetly be a regular.

Kwae Terrace was lovely. It is situated on the 5th floor of a very nice building in the Airport Area. I love that it has a well-managed parking lot.

Once you walk into the space itself, you will be blown away by the beautiful and spacious layout. I loved the touches of brown wood, lush green plants, the industrial metal -- contemporary African décor, tastefully and thoughtfully done. There is also an open air rooftop space with a beautiful view. It can get very hot during the day out there but I can imagine it would a lot more comfortable to be out there a little later in the day when sun is on its way out.

On the food side, I ordered the breakfast plate and everything was delicious. I also enjoyed the sugarcane lime drink and the carrot iced tea -- both were outstanding! The waitresses communicated very well -- polite, cordial and clear. Very professional.

Great space to do some quiet work and have meetings.

Very nice ambiance, easy going and stylish. The food is simply excellent, well priced and I recommend trying one of the cocktails.

Neat little rooftop spot. Good for brunch. Had a nice view. Had one of their breakfast sandwiches which tasted great and was just the right portion size. Ambiance was nice inside the restaurant. Opted not to sit outside because it was a little hot and didn’t want to be swarmed with insects.

A nice rooftop bar with a small selection of dishes and an excellent view over the city.
The place seems to be busy around lunch. We came in the evening and there were hardly any other guests besides us. The bathrooms are cleaner than elsewhere.

Great place for lunch and cocktails. Love the fact that it’s tucked out of the way! Could make a great venue for an intimate gathering. It has lovely views as well from the terrace.

Cool place for solo or group hangout

Great place for breakfast or brunch food any time of day. They have other food too of course. The place is clean, and nicely decorated with really great terrace views of the city. Always good service and the coffee is good too. A lot of people seem to come here for a quiet place to do some laptop work or business prep.

The view is amazing and the have bottomless mimosas on the weekends for brunch. We went there on a weekday and asked for bottomless mimosas and they accommodated us. Their service is great and we definitely had a great time. The food was really tasty.

Hmmm yummy, I really enjoyed their fried rice and toasted chicken, it was perfect and just the way I like it spicy 🌶 lol will you can choose not to ask for anything spicy.. But it’s all Good depending on what you eating that will call for spicy taste 👅.. thank you guys. You did it all...

Lovely space. Great for meetups, coffee breaks or full day sit-downs. Tasty food and drinks. Roof terrace is great for events.
