Perfect. Kasoa old market is a busy place in Kasoa. It is a place where different kinds of food stuffs can be bought. Apparels of all kinds can also be gotten over there in the market. One of the most nicest African wear top that can be gotten is the Kowa top. Sellers of those tops have a lot of patience for their buyers. Other things (non-edible) can also be gotten there. Kasoa is so much a nice place to be.

Kasoa's market is the main regional market.

The market is consistently packed and it is often difficult for new traders to be able to sell their goods at the market because all of the stalls are occupied.

In 1991 the plans for a new market in Kasoa were established and the plot of land where the market was to be built was purchased. However, due to a lack of funding, construction could not begin until ten years later.

Construction of the new market began in 2001, during President J.A. Kufuor's administration, after funds were provided by NGOs and with the cooperation of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly.

In January 2013, the market was improved. Through the combined efforts of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly and the Odupongkpehe/Kasoa Traders Association, new stalls were built for traders at the market.

I was astonished to see the new lorry station. It's been a long time since I last visited the place and the new scene is quite different and ok. This is because the population in Kasoa is becoming denser than some few years ago.
