B.A.S.I.C.S International

My siblings and I have loved being at Basics International. This fantastic organization is making a difference in the lives of a great number of individuals in the Chorkor neighborhood like myself, from young children to the elderly. Its goal is to eradicate hunger, poverty, and illiteracy in Chorkor and in the lives of those who come into contact with the organization.

BASICS is a truly a magical place. I had the opportunity to teach Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning during a summer camp. The kids are amazing and quick learners. Definitely a great place for kids to go and learn great things and enjoy a lot of great activities. The staff is great and I'm sure the kids will never be ready to be leave.

Great program inspiring local youth to achieve and aim higher. Very aspirational, great calm and serene environment.

I can’t wait to volunteer here … it’s such great energy at Basics.. all love and wellness for the kids in a low income and quality of life neighborhood.. anyone will find peace here.

I love BASICS. They fulfill a need in the community that prepares students to become school ready! BASICS is a multipurpose center giving help to girls who need a safe space, young people who need homework help, breakfast or evening snacks. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated Queen's Alumnae Chapter has adopted BASICS and has donated services, materials and is involved in BASICS SPONSOR a child program.

I am in awe with my dear friend and the great work she does with the children at B.A.S.I.C.S.
I will miss our yearly movie night and dinner with the children and staff. My hats off to you all. Keep up with the great work.
