It’s a special school for learners with intellectual disabilities. The teachers are very friendly and accommodating.

The kids are soo talented and are eager to mingle with visitors. You need to have an open mind to be able to appreciate their uniqueness and their creativity abilities.

The gentleman who is the head may be having a problem with persons/parents who are not from Ghana. I went to enquirer about a boarder for admission and was told the boys can not be accepted for boarding because the number is 45. The limit is 35. Really? This young boy stays in madina he can not be a day student. I explained this. The man did not give his name but advised us to go to madina school number 1 for admission. He asked me if I was from Nigeria 2 times. I did not respond because that has nothing to do with “how long is your waiting list for male/boy boarders”.
It seems that if you head to the school with a donation you will be received differently. I am not a donor today. I came for information. The man kept saying, I’m done with you. That is insulting since he was stating I need a psychological assessment done b4 a child can even enter the school as a student. My experience there as a guest/potential guardian of a student was indeed so-so at best.
