The store has had a revamp lately and a lot more footage has been given over to concessional brands and decor to match. This store has also improved its security which is a positive move as it should help reduce the thefts which then should help keep the prices at a reasonable price. If you want a belted checkout till then this store, whilst it still has about 6 of them I’m afraid it’s very much a DIY Checkout Experience but their are a larger selection of tills and more so your never waiting to long to pay and then leave.

The lady behind the travel agent Kiosk was so friendly. She gave fantastic advice, even so far as to what plugs I need in Egypt.
She was full of amazing advice, for a closed currency, and has lots of advice from travelling places alone, which is admirable.
Her customer service skills were fantastic, and she had knowledge unbeknown to others.
Very happy with this customer service and knowledge.

Easy access from A30 with fuel and car wash facilities. Love the large selection of vegan options available at this store with full shelves and just 12 minutes from Exeter hospital

Great place to shop fantastic selection of goods and clothing the One downfall of this supermarket is they’ve almost completely got rid of checkout by member of staff. I don’t get paid to check my own stuff out.

I had a flat tyre, stuck in the middle of nowhere. The delivery driver Dominic from Alphington was 10 minutes early for a delivery and was kind enough to stop and help me get the wheel off! Dominic, thank you for your help, it is really really appreciated!

I could not find what I wanted. I asked a staff member for help. They were excellent.

I actually visited this store to shop at Argos. However, Argos were out of stock of the item I was looking for (a walking aid), but I bought a Belgian chocolate cake anyway!

Its a nice area to do shopping especially during night hours

Great Sainsbury's store on Alphington Road, Exeter. Plenty of parking, especially for disabled drivers. Huge superstore with bakery, fishmonger, pizza bar etc.

Always good service here staff really good plenty of them as well not standing about doing nothing someone Always there to help

What a great supermarket on the outskirts of Dawlish Warren. There is the facility to scan your own shopping for a quicker experience. I have read that some people do not like the random bag checking done to avoid theft but I am fine with it as I have nothing to hide. It's a lifesaver on your way home from work with good fresh food. The petrol station is handy too.

Still the only supermarket in Exeter with 100%availability...friendly staff and easy to navigate.

That's the point of supermarkets- you've been in one, you've been in them all.

The milk I bought was also homogenised.

Was delivering and had issues and shop maniger did sort it out fast

Fab new store, helpful staff. (Though disappointed to see a rep from 'Always' doing a pos display, took a shelf display unit pack off to go on her pos display, one fell on the floor. She didn't go back at pick it up but ignored it. I had a baby yesterday and couldn't bend to pick it up. Luckily my husband came round the corner and grabbed it and put it back on the shelf so no one slipped.)

Excellent customer service, no big till queues.

Great parking, clean and tidy store, well stocked shelves, helpful people, good cafe. Great place to stop off en-route to the M5. Good value both in store and for fuel.
