SPAR New George Street

I've been going there for 5 years, the staff has been very pleasant and friendly. The offers are great, the store is quite small however there is a wide variety of things. I would definitely recommend others .

Excellent couple of gents behind the counter and who were very patient and of great help to me, a half blind tourist, when trying to get my foreign cell phone to work on a local network.

Popped in to grab a soda with no problems. It is small with not a huge selection but had what I needed and checkout was quick.

Nice local store, prices can be a little expensive, good opening times.

It has a cash machine outside, it's open until 11pm but compared to Premier just around the corner on Shudehill, its prices are quite high. Although it does sell newspapers and magazines.

Don’t ever come here, they are so rude. Might as well go to other convenience stores, there are a couple around this neighborhood

Been a customer here for 4 years. Am always polite and say hello when I go in, what is it good for? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Just been treated in the most horrible way. Their space raiders were 25p each or 2 packs for 40p as it said on the packet. Of course I got charged full price for the crisps. I pointed out the offer and he begrudgingly took off the 10p, then he basically threw the items down. Disgusting.

Everything in here is ridiculously over priced! A small bottle of Coke is nearly £2! Don’t mind overpaying for convenience but this is a joke!

Wouldn't recommend visiting here unless you appreciate being spoken to in a patronising and condescending tone.
