I have always enjoyed my visits to HMV. I am glad this store is still open and I try to visit every time I visit lakeside.

The store is well laid out and there is a good selection of products. It’s also worth noting that box sets are cheaper than buying digital copies. Therefore I encourage consumers to continue buying physical dvds and Blu Rays. It keeps the power to the consumer.

I had hoped to buy a PS5 from the store but it can only be ordered from online store.

I absolutely love this store. So spacious, neat and tidy ! A lot of products to look at :)

Great service from Louis on till and another guy with long hair (sorry I didn’t catch your name!). Very helpful, chatty and knowledgable about Halloween movies, they’re both a credit to your store!

Nostalgia Nostalgia Nostalgia. Very occasionally there's something here worth buying at a reasonable price or on the cheap, otherwise most things are found cheaper on the Internet. But it's always nice popping in to the shop and browsing through all the fun stuff they have in here.

Popped into HMV today mostly just to look around but stopped at a fantastic collection of movie-related T-shirts and an amazing-looking backpack (which I brought). The man behind the till was happy and talked to me and my son. Great customer service the kind that makes you want to go back time and time again.

First and foremost, we have been visiting lakeside game before they moved downstairs into the space they now accommodate, which looks great and eye-catching. The store's items grab you in as soon as you walk in, as you can see the new releases of cd's and vinyls, depending if you walk in on the first door. They have a good selection of pops and music. I'm an all rounder of what merchandise they sell, so I pop in frequently to see what they have as it's near my work. The staff are friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to find or answer anything you may need. Can be nightmare in the half terms/holiday to be able to move around in the store, due to certain aisles being quite small. But the atmosphere and staff when it's quite chilled rules out that.

Avoid at all costs🤣🤣🤣! I walked in to ask for 1 item & left with 16!! Loads of items to trip the nerd fantastic & you'll always find something in your peripherals to pull you over & whisper "collect me" into your ear.

Hi!! Great shop and really really lovely staff! But i was wondering, for your kpop section i think it would be really good if you started getting a lot more girl groups in stock and a larger variety of other boy group albums (face the sun by svt is like taking over lmao) other than that amazing store! <3

Great that this branch received another reprieve as the staff are fantastic, always helpful, always happy and with good knowledge.
Good to see vinyl back in store, with good offers in store especially in the clearance bins.
Sounds like things will get better still if the new owners are able to follow through on some ideas.

super friendly and helpful staff, when i visited quite early in the morning to buy some kpop albums one staff member let me have a look at the kpop albums they had just got delivered before they put them out onto the shelf! i ended up finding several albums i didn’t have yet :)

I've always loved the staff here, on my latest trip to here, Shannon, (tall blonde guy) was more than accommodating and helpful, really nice demeanour and has great product knowledge for what i was after.

Excellent discount prices, and good service. I was spoiled for choice as I only wanted a cheap set of earphones but I ended up getting a quality pair at a 60% discount.

As one of the remaining CD purchasers in the country I am pleased to report that this store stocks a fantastic selection of discs. The staff are friendly and helpful. If discs are not available in store then an ordering service is offered.

The last remaining chain of record stores. It must be kept alive. I always buy a cd or two every visit to help with this quest. If you value a good old browse rather than a click, I urge you to do the same. As is often said, . . . . Use it or lose it!

Well laid out, everything nicely labelled and a great selection of items to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful so would recommend going. Didn't buy anything this time round but still a very good use of the little space they had available.

Saw alot of music disks I wanted to use but I'm definitely buying the attack on titan manga when they bring manga out in there because all they got is dvds for anime all and all best shop most favourite there
