Partridge and Parr

A lovely shopping experience. My wife was in her element! When we walked up the street and spotted Fairfax in the window, her eyes dilated and pulse quickened 🤣. Happy to have her birthday, our anniversary and Christmas sorted in one swipe 👍. We only blue box once in a blue moon and you made it pleasurable.

Lovely local shop, I found the staff were friendly and helpful. They had all sizes available in the items I wanted to try on. Great customer service.

This is a luxury brand store selling really beautiful country clothing. Can’t fault the clothing as it’s what one would see in Knightsbridge, London! The shop itself is small but beautifully presented. All good so far!
Now we come to the service. The shop is located in a very rural community in a tourist area. The summer trade is gone and you are left with locals who tend to be farmers and can walk in straight off the farm - designer clothing is not practical when you’re dealing with sheep and cows but it’s still great to have lovely clothes to dress up in when you’re out and about. TAKE NOTE!!
So one goes into the very small shop to have a look. The sales assistant/manager is sitting down behind a high counter. Only top of the head visible. No customer acknowledgement whatsoever, no smile, no hello, no offer of help. After browsing I went to leave and still no acknowledgement. The impression I was left with was I was judged by what I was wearing and perceived to be not worth bothering with. So I will continue to order my scarves, accessories etc online from Fortnums, Liberty and Harvey Nichols.
Had the customer service been impeccable, this would have been a 5 star review. Hopefully the comments will be seen as constructive and some customer service training undertaken!
