Had an absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch today with my partner!!
The Owl has such a wonderful atmosphere.
The service, cocktails and food are phenomenal!!
I would highly recommend this place if you really want a superb meal or even just cocktails/ beers on the sunny terrace!

Didn't stay but had a lovely dinner. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food was well presented and very tasty. Dog friendly too!

We had a great dinner at The Owl last Friday - scallops, sides of vegetables and rhubarb crumble - all excellent and good value. Our waitress was super friendly and so helpful. Definitely recommend this pub for food, drinks and staff!

Have visited several times over the last few years. Always good friendly service, food excellent. Dogs accepted in bar . Good selection of ales ! Unfortunately never stayed in accommodation!

Came for a Friday night dinner which was delicious. Everyone very much enjoyed their meal, lovely seafood. Very dog friendly!

We had an amazing dinner at the Owl, some of the best food we’ve had in a while. We had 3 courses and cannot fault the food at all. The staff were super friendly and provided great service, they made us feel so welcome. Initially we just went for a drink one evening, but ended up booking for dinner the following day because the staff and vibe was so friendly and inviting!! It’s also dog friendly which is a plus (he loved the steak!). Contrary to many of the negative reviews, as a group of adults we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere due to the lack of children running around.

Good food - slightly on the pricey side but good nevertheless. Went here off season so nice and quiet. Superb customer service from the staff and manager. Glad we came here (recommended by many).

We came to the Owl for lunch today after a long wet walk in Camber Sands. The staff were very friendly and found us a nice table to sit at. They were very accommodating of our dog and made a big fuss of her as well as bringing her a bowl of water an treats.

The food was excellent, very generous portions and everything was absolutely delicious, especially the mussels.

Would highly recommend to anyone visiting to go there for a drink and some really tasty food.

These guys are excellent at what they do. The service and quality is amazing. We are big foodies from London. And for 2 nights in a row we were so impressed by the menu, the quality, and the portions. You guys deserve to do so well. Thanks for looking after us and our slightly nervous dog. The staff at the Owl looked after us brilliantly for a large group dinner for 14 of us on Saturday night. We had a lovely private dining area and excellent service. We were made to feel extremely welcome and the atmosphere was lovely. The food itself was superb. We had sharing starters which were delicious and the flavours were lovely. Our main courses were all of a very high standard and cooked to perfection. Couldn't fault the surroundings, food or staff. Highly recommend for good quality dining.

Ate here for dinner in a group of 8. Staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Food was fabulous and very generous servings. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Absolutely tasty food and generous portions. Maybe could have ordered a few less delicious because was so full in the end, but then would have missed out on the ones we did not order. Service was brilliant, and a walk along the dunes after the meal was lovely. I highly recommend the pub.

3 times a year we stay in Camber. The Owl is consistently good service and quality food. It's quite expensive for the area, but don't mind paying for quality. In the summer months, or more than 4 anytime, I would recommend booking in advance. Will return next year.

Turned up unannounced on one of the busiest days of the year and the team found us a table, food was amazing and service good even finding some food for our dog. Will definitely be returning

Service is friendly and relaxed. Food is generous and cooked to perfection.
Quite possibly the best calamari I have ever had.
Easy walk along the beach to get there from Parkdean
Really hope to go again while in the area.

Cannot talk about the hotel but as a restaurant it's very good.
Called in on a quiet Tuesday after walking dog on the beach.
Staff were very friendly and service great.
We had a couple of the "lighter dishes". Both were excellent with the pork belly particularly good.
Provided like us you have outgrown young children, I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Just had the best week in Camber and The Owl was our local and it was fantastic!! A great pub, run by lovely people serving top quality food and drinks. Our group was aged from 9 to 83 years old and there was something for everyone. On the 1st day I had fabulous oysters, my Dad and husband had the burger (huge and tasty). A few others had the mussels and everyone said they were the best they'd had so I had to go back and have them myself, absolutely amazing again!! Thank you everyone at The Owl we loved it. Xxxx

Gastropub at its best. More than just good honest pub food. It was well thought through and well executed. The chef is a bit of a genius with seasoning vegetables. The greens and new potatoes as well as the veggies and sauces on the dishes were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly but not oppressive. The selection of desserts was great, especially the crumbly bits. Thank you, Owl. Oh - and dog-friendly too.
