Just returned from a week at Seaside Lodge and had a wonderful time. The Lodge is spacious and beautifully decorated with every luxurious home comfort imaginable. Anderby Creek is a gem of a village with a spectacular beach but relatively undiscovered so wonderfully peaceful. There are loads of great pubs and local food vendors in the area so we ate like kings and queens. Our kids and dog loved it too so it works on every level. We are already discussing when we can go back!

Wondrously relaxing location with garden & windows looking out over a fishing lake (we were watching two Canada geese herding their 5 goslings around all week). Just 5 minute walk to long, sandy beaches. Beautifully & comfortably furnished, with numerous attentions to detail (like DVD telly with headphones so one of you can stay up while the others sleep!) Perfect holiday location in a county we'd never explored before.

Really excellent decor and fittings.

Although there are a lot of static caravans and beach huts in the area, Seaside Lodge is in a very quiet location with a back garden next to a fishing lake.

There are bars and a beach within easy walking distance and the area is good for country walks.

Beautiful lakeside lodge equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Comfortable beds, en-suite and family bathroom. Well kept garden that looks over the lake with plenty of garden furniture. Very close to the beautiful Anderby Beach. Highly recommended. Another lovely 3 days spent at Seaside Lodge 28 - 31 August, we can't fault it and will be back.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Seaside Lodge in Anderby Creek. It is such a delightful, well equipped chalet, ideal for two couples, with a stunning view. We thoroughly enjoyed some lovely nearby walks and then happily returned to the chalet to relax and enjoy a drink and meal whilst soaking up the view. Would highly recommend.

Just returned from a long weekend at Seaside Lodge - absolutely gorgeous accomodation and wonderful location so close to almost empty beaches - except for the wildlife that is! Everything you could possibly want for a great stay is provided and the interior is lovely - immaculately clean with pristine, crisp sheets, soft towels and sparkling bathrooms and kitchen. A real seaside vibe going on with the decor - contemporary with a twist! We'd love to go back and I'm sure we will.

Back again to Seaside Lodge for another lovely weekend away from it all. The lodge is just fab - full of home comforts and so cosy. This weekend was certainly a chilly one but it was great to have a bracing walk on the beach and come back and light the log fire - and what a beach it is! Throw in a fish & chip supper, Sunday lunch and a spot of kite flying and you've got a perfect seaside break.

Just wanted to update our review as we visited again at the end of April, superb. Shocked to see a recent negative review. Are we talking about the same place? I didn't really understand all...aircon? For us, this is our third visit. The fresh water lake is beautifully close and therefore flies will naturally be around at certain times. We also open the double doors as often as we can.
Inside nice to see they still have their local foody welcome pack; that fruit bread! Spotlessly clean as usual; wish home was like this. Didn't try the new popcorn machine.
April was 'quite windy' but we did get our new kite up. The beach was empty as usual. Still haven't eaten out as we just love bringing few bits allowing us to park up until we have to leave.

2016 - My lady and I stayed over at Seaside Lodge last weekend with friends. Although we'd obviously researched the accommodation online, little prepared us for the actual completeness of what was offered. The 'feel' of the property just can't be conveyed in multitude of lovely photos available on the Lodge's website/blog; I'm probably going to do a pretty poor job here too. It just feels like a lodge you would have done. It's homely but very luxurious; it's very airy but cosy...am I making sense? "Carlsberg don't do Seaside Lodges, but if they did"......you get my drift. Warmth, space, welcome pack, comfy beds and sofas, awesome log burner, great views, empty beach, your own friendly moorhen in the garden.
The classy owners have taken great care to create a retreat they'd want to have, so pleased they're sharing it!

Very high standard of accommodation. Lovely location with great level of decoration and equipment.
The beach is literally 3 minutes away on foot.
Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My second visit to seaside lodge. Beautifully appointed and in an idyllic position overlooking the lake at Anderby Creek, the accommodation cannot be faulted.

A cut above other getaway places. Collection of Uncut music magazines was a rare treat. Seaside Lodge is ideal for long, quiet beaches and high n wide skies. Had more than enough to relax inside if the weather had turned. It didn't. Shame eh!
