The Fish Shop Roughton

Called in on the way to Cromer for holiday we sat on the picnic table outside as it was so warm, the fish was amazing, chunky bit of cod which had been skinned and lovely crispy batter, we have tried other places in Cromer and Sheringham on previous trips and this place is by far the best, we also had chips but thank goodness we shared a portion as it was more than enough for 2 people. The staff were so friendly and wouldn't go anywhere else now when we are up this way.

Great place to stop on our motorbike before exploring the North Norfolk coastline.

Lovely fish shop. Great food, friendly and efficient staff. A large selection of their menu and they offer delivery while not charging an insane amount for it. This fish and chip shop is highly recommended by me.

We stopped on the way back from seeing the New Year's Day fireworks (amazing), in Cromer. The Fish Shop was really busy but staff friendly and well organised. Fish and chips were first class.

Really nice quality food. We had battered sausage and chips. The batter was light and crispy and the chips were nice, golden and not greasy. I recommend stopping in for a bite. Picnic Benches are available to eat outside too.

Stopped off on way home from the beach yesterday. Well worth it, best fish we've had in quite some time. Chips were a good portion, able to share a large with my hungry daughter and were both well fed. Would definitely return if we are in the area again.

Best chip shop in Norfolk in my opinion. Well worth going out my way for and do time and time again

Could not fault food.

Easy to order online and they delivered within the time frame selected.

Delivery driver was so friendly and even called when on the way.

100% recommend and will be using these again.

Really tasty food for 7 people ordered at the counter at 6.30pm, when there were plenty of customers, but not a long wait. Tried to order in advance by phone, but staff too busy dealing with customers...not a problem when service was that quick.
Outside picnic tables if you want to eat there. Car park adjacent too.

Absolutely delicious chips. Cooked in veg oil and separately so effectively gluten free too. Great chips, lovely service, plenty of seating and parking too. Thank you!

Read the other reviews and was having second thoughts about buying from here but decided to go and take a chance, I'm glad I did I couldn’t fault the food or the service.
Very much enjoyed our cod and chips which cost about average.

Fabulous food. Even the dog got a GF haddock and was overjoyed!! Best fish and chips we have had in years. Highly recommend.

It's good for sure, not the cheapest but up there with the best imho.

Excellent, had to wait for 15 minutes but went there at 1800. Worth the wait. Fish was excellent and chips were good too. Staff brilliant and polite. Be careful when exiting the car park though, the A140 is a busy road so keep your eyes and ears open. Reasonable prices.
