Awesome dog walking area with play park for kids but like the rest of launceston badly in need of a skate park!

Since February 2023 the centre is under new management, this is a community project run by local people.
Excellent pool for all, gym and sports hall.
Good changing facilities, pleasant approachable staff.
Cash, card and direct debit payments accepted.
Free parking and lots of park grounds.

Under new ownership and Management since February 2023. Fresh, clean with plenty of good quality gym equipment. Staff are fantastic, very helpful and friendly. A 25 metre swimming pool with attached toddler pool. A good variety of classes to choose from including Aquafit, Cyclefit, Kettlebells and Circuits.

Since the centre re opened in Feb it seems a different place. It is clean, has a friendly atmoshere about it. Showers are good, pool clean, the staff friendly and all in all a good experience had in the swimming pool. Well done

My daughter started swimming lessons today and she had a great time, she liked the instructors and the new look leisure centre is great!

I went during school holidays on one of the days that they got the float out. I kept falling off but I was amazed at the staff - they laughed and joined in with the fun and then encouraged me to keep going. I made it after 5 goes and didn't fall again.

The place is very clean and very tidy. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic staff, great facilities. I really cannot thank them enough for making it easy for me to use the pool as I recover from a serious injury. Being able to swim has really sped up my treatment and I would highly recommend Launceston swimming pool for anybody else that finds pool access difficult. The facility itself has very easy access and the staff go out of their way to help in what is usually a difficult situation.

My grandchildren enjoyed themselves, and us adults were impressed with it. It was the first time we had been there but it won't be the last.

Great to have such a facility locally. Use the pool regularly and the gym on the odd occasion.

Great lane swimming. Not over crowded and facilities are clean. Friendly staff.

My children have used it for years and now the grandchildren are using it, says it all.

The gym is so lovely and clean the pool is huge and ideal for a quiet swim in the evening. Staff are extremely helpful.

Always clean. Pool is warm. We like the separate small children's pool.
